NOTICE : The major problem for most people is about resizing the drawings (they must be smaller than 2000 * 2000 pixels or it will block the automatic send system). To do this, you can either use the software I talk about below, or use this very practical tool for Windows XP (which will allow you to resize multiple drawings with a single right click) :

Considering that a lot of people still don't get how to send their drawings correctly on the site, I've created this guide to help you.
Don't be afraid if this seems long, because it's really not once you're used to it. It's simple but I wanted to make a very detailed help guide.


Instructions on how to send fan arts (or wallpapers) on the site :


1/ The drawings need to be files on your computer.
* If you drew your drawings with the mouse, just save them on your hard drive.
* If they are paper drawings, you need to scan them. Use a scanner or a digital camera to get the file on your hard drive.

2/ The drawings need to be in JPEG format (.JPG extension), GIF or PNG, and must have a resolution below 2000 * 2000 pixels. (width * height)
If they are not jpg, gif, png or if the resolution is too big, you need to do transformations.

3/ On the site : go to the fan arts page, and scroll down the page. You'll see : "Maybe you'd like to add your drawings?" Click on the link below it.

4/ Choose to send fanarts.

5/ If you already have a gallery, you will automatically access the submit form.
If not, you should create a new gallery by clicking on the link at the bottom.

6/ Click on the "Browse" button, and choose the drawing you want to send. Click once on "Send the picture", and wait until the page refresh. You drawing should appear at the bottom of the page.

7/ Repeat the 6/ process for every drawing you want to send. The pictures are finally sent!


IMPORTANT : The fan arts will NOT appear on the site until they've been checked by a moderator. The mods update the fanarts around once each day, sometimes more, sometimes less depending on their availability.
So don't be surprised if your drawings do not appear immediately.

I have completly changed the tutorial (my first message in this topic)
So if some of you still had questions about sending fan arts, I really hope it will be OK with that now...

I got a problem. When I sent a wallpaper today I couldn't see it on the desktop page.

What do you mean by 'edit'. You mean like resizing, enhancing, cropping?

What if you can't e-mail and you want to send it in the mail?

Are you sure you did read this tutorial? You don't have to send your fanarts by email, and you SHOULDN'T. Use the automatic send system, I don't like having to post myself the pictures that you should have posted yourself directly with the automatic send system.
