Alright, iCarly is one of my favorite shows, and in my mind one of Nick's best ideas. Anyway, if you don't know about it, here's a rundown.

Carly Shay, played by Miranda Cosgrove (who also played Megan on Drake and Josh), is a normal teenage girl until she and her best friend Sam, a tomboy with a very agressive nature, and their friend Freddie, a tech wiz who despite being friends with Sam is often the target of her abuse and loves Carly, are forced to handle the talent show audictions for their school, with Freddie taping their funny comentary of the audictions. Freddie accidently posts the comentary online, causing Sam and Carly to become a sensation. They decide to take this and run with it by making a comedy online show called iCarly, which becomes a megahit. Other characters are Carly's brother Spencer, an artist who makes scuptures out of random objects whose repair jobs often lead to things spontaniously bursting into flames, Lewburt, the mean, rotten doorman in the lobby of Carly's appartment building who has a very large wart, and the main antagonist Nevel, a young, extremely intellgent boy with a hatred for iCarly who is bent on ruining it to get revenge for Carly not wanting to go out with him.

So anyone else like this show?

I like the show. i noticed, that it isnt really for reality, but mostly for entertaiment.

lots of exaggerations and overstatements. but that is one thing that makes it good, lol

and also, the show seems to tell kids to do stuff they shouldent do sometimes. and lots of episodes just end out of nowhere, there is like no conclusion. i dont really get it.

But i still like the show. its funny and entertaining.

And Nevel seems kinda not well. idk why carly not kissing him and shoving (what is that stuf called again? topenon? LOL)
then he gets really bad? hmm, and also he likes saying "you will rue this day" that is funny.

i have watched tons of eps

and i know why sam might "abuse" freddie, she likes him. she just shows it in an agressive way. (i think he likes her back xD)

well yeah

YOu can tell i watch this show alot.

I like the show as well, my favorite character is Spencer, he is funny, in my opinion i would like to be like him in the later future

Yes I watch it also. I used to think it sounded dumb but then I watched it when I was bored and have watched it since. I like how random it can be and its just funny. It affects me too because the episode where Carly almost had to move to Yakima made the name stick in my head and in school a few days ago i was reading about a killer who escaped a mental institution in Yakima, Wa. and was recaptured and i was like whoa, yakima's real? XD I thought it was a fictional town they made for the show.

Yeah I asked dad if Yakima was real. i was surprised it was! lol

I liked "the sack" that was funny, and now my group in my Media TV production class we are doing funny commercials and we are doing "the sack" lol. i wonder what it would be like.

I was suprised that town was real as well. I didn't see that one coming. Anyway, I love the Messin' With Lewbert segments, that guy certainly deserves it. I also think Freddie's mom is funny...and psychoatic. I mainly watched this the first time because I'd like Drake and Josh really well and I saw Miranda Cosgrove was in iCarly as well, then I saw I loved it. The best part is, despite the randomness, the random things don't stick out like a sore thumb because they make it make sense some how (ether due to the character's personalities or due to how things are set up), which makes it even funnier, like Gibby's habit of appearing without a shirt on. I also love the running gag with Spenser where something just bursts into flames for no reason, the first time with the drums made me laugh uncontrolably.

It did it twice, that was even funnier. I also liked it when he was looking for his flare gun, found it, and then accidentally shot it through a door. That was funny. There's a lot of comical things in the show.

Eh.. I don't like it.
Some parts are funny, yeah. But it's too.. repetitive for my tastes. The whole web show idea I like, but how many times have we seen a show where a girl's best guy friend falls in love with her along with every other guy she ever comes in contact with?

And in my opinion, Miranda Cosgrove was so much better in Drake and Josh. I don't like her at all in iCarly.

The only thing I dont like about Miranda Cosgrove is she like always smiles. Even when she tries to be mad shes like smiling. It irritates me. I like Sam better than Carly.

But the thing is, she wasn't like that in Drake and Josh. She played Megan so perfectly ._.

Actuelly, she smiled quite a bit as Megan, just it worked because she was always doing what she liked to do, inflicting pain and suffering on Drake and Josh.

It may just be how her face is shaped, not bad acting.

I love Sam as well, she's just so...well she's mean but she's a good friend at the same time, she's just a hard character to discribe. I liked the scene showing how they met, it was funny!

True but Drake and Josh wasnt a show I really watched a whole lot. I like Carly's brother Spencer too. Im more a fan of the comedy in the show than the romance.

I like the comedy a lot too.

BTW, am I the only one who noticed a large number of refrences to Drake and Josh in iCarly? I guess it makes sense, Carly and Spencer are played by people who appeared in Drake and Josh.
