Here's a crossover fanfic that I'm currently working on: Balto: Le Mans. It's basically a cross between Balto and the 1971 Steve McQueen movie, Le Mans. In it, Balto portrays a young sports car racer who returns to compete in the famed 24 Hours of Le Mans race one year after a near-fatal crash. Unlike the movie, which is based off the 1970 running of the race and features cars like the Porsche 917K and Ferrari 512S, my version is set in the Group C era of 1982-1993, with cars like the Ford C100, Porsche 956 and 962 (Balto drives a 962 in the fanfic), Jaguar XJR-9, Mercedes C9, Mazda 787, and Peugeot 905, to name a few. Balto: Le Mans is based off the 1989 running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
This is also my first attempt at a "Balto characters as anthros" type of story. Do you think this could work?
