I noticed pictures are required to send in a character design here.

This character is based on the life and circumstances of my childhood pet, whose six amazing years on earth will never be forgotten.
Rose is an adult, a tri-color Shetland Sheepdog, a.k.a. Miniature Collie. She is smaller than most Shelties, because she was the runt of her litter and was never healthy. Rose is close to Lady's height, while Rose's breed tends to be much larger. Rose has mostly black fur, with white and brown "sock" patterns of varying sizes on her paws, a large white tip at the end of her black tail like a paintbrush dipped in paint, a white chest, a white streak starting from her nose ending in a perfect diamond shape on her forehead, and brown eyebrows. Her eyes are a dark grey-blue, bordering on violet. Her ears, unlike most Shelties, continually perk upwards instead of flopping. She is also petite in width for her breed, for aforementioned poor health.
While Rose comes from a long line of show dogs, she herself can not be in shows because she is not "perfect" enough to qualify. In other words, Rose is too flawed for the high life and too ill for the streets. However, she has been shown to survive against great odds - getting lost for days as a small puppy, getting wounded by a much larger dog, etc.
What Rose lacks in physical finesse, she makes up for in resourcefulness, intelligence, and kindness. She is quick of mind, and open-hearted toward anyone. She is particularly caring toward pups and children. This once lead to her standing between stray puppies and a very vicious larger dog, letting the puppies make a run for it. She didn't win the battle, but she did recover from her wounds.
Rose's owners moved into a certain New England neighborhood soon after the birth of Lady and Tramp's litter, when Rose would be in her mid-thirties as a human. Rose befriended Lady, as well as Lady's family and friends. In fact, Rose became more than friends with Jacques, and the Sheltie and the Scottie had six puppies (three girls and three boys) together. None of the puppies are close to regular Sheltie size!
Rose is a devoted mommy and doggie wife. She is not perfect, for she's always been very emotional and can be a bit quick to say "snappy" things (though less so than in her youth), and she's too brave for her own well-being. But she is a very warmhearted and endearing dog, who I'm sure would love to meet you.
If you could draw Rose, that would be AMAZING. I have, unfortunately, no pictures of her because she lived a long time ago and I have moved several times. I also cannot give any of her descendants' pictures for reference, because her puppies - which were indeed half Scottish Terrier - died before birth in real life.
This character is Rose's life with a Disney Happily Ever After.
I do know of someone who plans on drawing Rose + family later, but she's currently swamped with artwork and we don't know how long it will take her to finish. I'm just asking for Rose for now. (: You're amazing if you say yes!
