UGH. *Serious face palm*

Okay, JerseyCaptain, about your post for my ideas. What do you mean by what you said for my third idea? Is it about the getting revenge on Balto part?

My post you are referring to was made on December 26th. You've been on since then, but you're only replying to that now?


Be that as it may...


The PROBLEMS I have with that..."idea"...are:


1. "A red version of Balto"? No. Silly. A red DOG would be fine. But some strange red alter ego of Balto just popping into town makes no sense and is patently silly. Just as is naming it "Dog".


2. A strange red alter ego of Balto shows up in town, is jealous of Balto and wants to compete with him for Jenna's romantic attentions, and yet starts living in Balto's boat? A dog who is jealous of, and competitive with, Balto and spends some apparent spare time playing pranks on Boris? Sure--he'd live right there on the boat with Balto and Boris. They'd welcome him right in. That makes perfect sense.


3. Niju is a wolf. He doesn't live anywhere near Nome, and wouldn't. Wolves don't go near Nome, nor did they ever. Nor would Niju, much less any other wolf, "team up" with a dog to fight another dog. Bad concept in every respect...and again, patently silly.


4. This strange red alter ego of Balto, already jealous of Balto and trying to compete with him for Jenna's attentions and then taking some extra time out to play pranks on Boris, suddenly "becomes evil" and decides to launch some campaign of violence against Balto? Are you kidding me right now? (By the way...this sure is one busy dog. One wonders how he manages to pack all of this jealousy, bitterness, mischief, girlfriend hijacking and evil-inspired violence into each new day. XD Could it be that he's got a day planner stuffed away under one of the deck planks on that boat where he's ironically been so warmly welcomed? Huh. Must be...)


Does that spell it out for you?

1. Okay, I see your point. You are completely right there.

2. He is nice at first, but then over time falls in love with Jenna and gets jealous of Balto. Not right away, but over time. They welcome him at first, and at first he is nice.

3. Well, actually, something I forgot to include, Dog is injured by Balto when he tries to attack Star, and then Dog runs away from Nome, where he meets Niju in the wild. Niju tells Dog to go out and trick Balto into coming into the wild so Niju can attack him.

4. I have nothing to say because most of this part said something about a day planner and is mostly a joke. And besides, Balto wins the fight and manages to turn Dog good in the end.

That tells me nothing xD This is a discussion topic. Discuss. Don't just say one run-on sentence and expect it to add something. Tell me what you WOULD do. Not what you WOULDN'T do.

If you are familiar with "The Three Stooges", I would make a tv series about Nikki, Kaltag, and Star. The other characters would appear as "guest stars" in the episodes. The stories will take place a couple of weeks after Balto saved Nome, and will be mainly about the trio's mishaps and adventures in Nome. Each episode will be about 12 minutes long and the animation will much better than Balto 2 and 3.

^ This here has to be one the first, if not the only, original idea here that does not involve Aleu returning to Nome, or some other dumb idea.

Although the animation in Balto 2 or 3 wasn't "bad", it was just the artists in Balto 2 just weren't the greatests. Otherwise I don't see what was "bad" about the animation quality in the the third film.

You really think it's a good idea Mighty?

I do like the idea of taking Nikki, Kaltag and Star and turning them into a comical trio, and basing them off of the Three Stooges. Perhaps you could create some comics and submit them to the site.

Probably cutting off animation frames which creates effect like this - /sites_co ... /26760.jpg way too often. Someone pointed that out to me lately.

A comic series, really? this topic is about a TV series. If you want to post a topic for a balto comic series make a new form.

Err, Balto, if you read I suggested for Star to make a comic to post in his fanart gallery. Otherwise his original post in NOT about a comic.
