Marshall finished his food and licked some blood off his lips, then stood and left the den.

"I wonder where he's going." Dare said.

"Beats me. Probably just out." Rod guessed.

Marrshall went out to a nearby stream and layed down in the grass by the shore.

Cheyanne, Murray and Joe went on a hunting trip.

The three of them curled up side by side trying desperately to keep warm in the blizzard brewing before them, by morning their pelts would be covered with the soft snow. Joe was on Cheyanne's right, and Murray on her left, their tails overlapped and their noses covered with their frozen paws.

Cheyanne's eyes flickered open, she lifted her head and the snow atop it showered down. She huffed, lifted herself and shaking off her black pelt. Cheyanne nudged Murray's muzzle with her own, when he woke he looked up at her, yawned, stood, and shook his own pelt. "Joe, wake up.." she nudged him, and he too woke and shook himself. "What do we do first?" asked Murray, staring at Cheyanne, his head cocked to the right. "We'd better get something to eat before we get going. right Cheyanne?" asked Joe. Cheyanne nodded in response. "It wouldn't hurt, after all, we didn't get anything last night." "Ugh, don't remind me." Joe said moaning, "Let's just go. We won't get anything standing here." he added, beginning to trot off. "He's right. Let's move." Cheyanne motioned. White was all the trio saw, the trees, rocks, ledges, everything you could imagine was covered in soft white snow. Although the it had not snowed for the past hour all three wolves felt as if the wind was carrying a dreadful blizzard their way. Joe kept looking back and forth from time to time, he wasn't sure where they were going. He was sure they were lost. "Weren't we here before?" his low voice broke the silence. "No" was the only thing he heard afterward. Joe sighed. "Alright." he didn't believe her. "Maybe we're lost," said Murray, "Besides, didn't we just pass that tree?" Cheyanne didn't even look over her shoulder to see the tree he was pointing out. "No. They're all pines. They all look the same, Murray." she knew what he wanted. He wanted to stop and plan out their next meal, then call it a night and continue in the morning. Not on Cheyanne's watch, she want to keep going. At least 'till dark.

Where are they going?

Marshall caught a few trout and salmon while he lay by the river, sunbathing to warm his fur. When he didn't return for a while, Darren and Roderick came looking for him.

Somewhere far away. I don't know, just to go find some good food.

The three of them kept on, as it got darker both Murray and Joe darted their eyes to Cheyanne, waiting for her voice to cut across in land. Nothing. Still, they went on. Cheyanne suddenly stopped and darted her eyes towards an old rock ledge. "We'll bunk here tonight," her stern facial expression turned to Murray then softened. "First let's clear the snow out from under it, it'd be less cold." Murray didn't hold back the warm- hearted grin, and he certainly didn't hesitate to clear the snow. He bolted for the rock ledge and dug the snow out. Joe laughed, running over and shoving his own paws into the wet snow. Just like puppies, Cheyanne thought, but you just have to love them. The three canines spent the night under the large rock ledge, the snow capped on top of it. Cheyanne woke to see the land in front of them was yet again covered in a soft blanket of snow. She smiled. But her smile soon faded as a gust of wind blew North and dark grey clouds rolled in, her fur swayed wildly in the wind. Cheyanne began to crawl out of the capped ledge. Her fur was only covered in a handful of snow, which soon became none as she shook herself. Joe's eyes flickered open, and stared at the black figure in front of him. He yawned, his tongue lolled out and his ears pushed back.

Roderick and Darren soon found Marshall just around the riverbed. (lol remember that song? Just Around the Riverbed, from Pocahontas)

"There you are, Marsh." Darren said. "We've been lookin' for ya."

"Hey Dare. Hey Rod." Marshall greeted.

"A blizzard's coming." Roderick said. "We need to find shelter, and find a new place where there's more game and water."

Marshall stretched out his legs before standing and shaking the snow out of his pelt.

"Alright." Marshall nodded, agreeing.

And so the three brothers set out.

LOL............ No. I was five since I last saw it.. Maybe. I'm 16 now. So, it's been a while

"Something wrong?" asked Joe, standing and siding the she - wolf. "The clouds are rolling in from the North." said Cheyanne. Murray awoke and parted the cozy ledge, siding the two canines. "And the wind is from the North." the she-wolf added, "It looks like we're gonna get a storm. Again." Murray groaned, he didn't like the hard blowing snow, or the harsh winds. But who did? "Let's go look for a more secure den. If it does storm, this little ledge isn't to protect us very well." said Cheyanne. "But first let's find something to eat," said the brown pelted wolf. "Joe's right." said Murray. The three canines went off, in search of food and better shelter. The clouds seemed to linger above as the three made their way across the land, like they were waiting for them to do something important than dump snow right on top of them. The wolves traveled far, and not a single snowflake descended from the grey sky. Murray would sometimes leap onto Joe's back and both of them would roll in the snow, engaging in play. After all, it was important to have some fun on the everlasting trip. Snow, trees, rocks, and more snow was the daily routine on the journey. Cheyanne had to admit, it was really boring. No interaction from other wolves or dogs for the past five days. Not even a single coyote. Murray tackled Joe, and both of them went tumbling down a small hill of to the side. Nipping at each others ears and paws as they went down.
"Guys, be cool, huh?" Cheyanne said, trying not to laugh. She enjoyed watching these two grown wolves play as if they were pups again. Murray looked up at her, he was pinned by Joe. The brown wolf stepped over the gray wolf. Joe started to walk up the hill, towards Cheyanne. Murray lifted himself off the ground and shook his gray pelt. Cheyanne's smiled faded and she turned to the West, her ears pinned to the back of her head and her fur bristled. Both males looked the same direction, scanning for what she might be focused on. "What is it?" asked Murray. "I don't know," replied Cheyanne, fixated on whatever, "But it doesn't smell friendly. Let's go." Cheyanne took off, Joe and Murray nodded and followed the she-wolf.
