Ever had a feeling that some shows aired on kid channels are disturbing, inappropriate and not suitable for kids? And I don't mean adult cartoons like Familly Guy, South Park etc. but shows and movies that are aimed for young audience and aired on channels like Cartoon Network.


Here are mine:

The Simpsons - Yes I know it's an adult show, but I'm listing it here because it was aired on Fox Kids when I was a kid. What did they ever think to put it on kids channel back then?

Marvelous Misadventures Of Flapjack - I love this show, but it's pretty grotesque and disturbing and I think it shouldn't be mean for such young audience. Well after all Courage the Cowardly Dog was disturbing too, but Flapjack beats it.

Total Drama series - I't really inapprotiate sometimes. There are way too explict scenes including nudity, censored swears, making out etc. And while most of cuss sentences are a classing "beeping", I remember that first episode of Total Drama Island has this "partially-censored" cuss word (at least in Polish dub) so you could still unserstand the word. Nudity is censored too (pixels) but there are several gags including it.

Pretty old, but Space Ghost is my ultimate favorite funny cartoon ever. the original was shown in the 60s, but they did Space Ghost Coast to Coast in the 2000s. It was shown on Cartoon Network. Think of Space Ghost: C2C as the Venture Bros predecessor, and mind you, Venture Bros was pretty inappropriately funny too
