Is Taka(scar) that bad?

Taka isn't that bad he didn't try to kill simba and he was only bad because when he was little he didn't have much time to play with mufasa so he started to get bad I'm not saying that he is kind but just a little bad what do you think? (note:I'm not trying to start a war here or being rude I'm just seeing what you think he is)

I don't think he was "omg evil!" but he was a bad character, at least you'd hope so as that's how he was created. xD
Scar was a very well developed bad guy too. Reading "Six new adventures" really helps to show why he was so bad though.
He did kill his own brother and tried to kill his nephew and probably would've killed Sarabi had Simba not shown up.

I love Scar though, one of my fave LK charries.

Yes, Scar is bad... he attempted to kill several of his family members, and succeeded with one of them.

But, I don't believe that Scar was always as evil as he was when he died. I think his evilness developed as he aged. He was obviously jealous of Mufasa, and his jealousy boiled and festered until it turned to hatred, and the hatred later became murder.
I have a bit of sympathy for Scar, though. He had an extremely sad and bothersome life.

Well, Taka wasn't realy all that EVIL to me. He got mad at Mufasa because his dad had choosen his brother to be king insted of him. And he got his scar from begging his dad if he could be king too many times. You see, his dad got so mad of Taka's begging, he swiped him across his little cub face. And of course, thats why he's called Scar. All the other cubs made fun of him, making a bigger and bigger evil darkness inside of him. He got so mad that the evil couldn't excape his anger. That's why he killed Mufasa.

Not really. He got that from trying to kill Mufasa. Thats in the six adventures, so every TLK fan should read it.

He was turned evil. Not born evil. Made evil. As a cub, he was probably adorable. Maybe then he had light colours, his darker colours aren't exactly genetics. Maybe the colours grew darker along with his heart. Being evil was actually an accident. Mufasa's accidental fault.

Those are just my beliefs.

Yes, I'd like to believe that Scar was an adorable little cub and that events in his life made him who he is. However that cannot change the fact that he attempted to kill his own brother and nephew.

You are absolutely right! No one is really made evil and Mufasa was kind of a bully to him in the movie so it's no wonder that Taka/Scar would want to kill him and get revenge.

He was just made to look bad but the whole story from his perspective was not given so there was no real idea of why he would want to do what he did. If it was I'm sure people would not think of him in such a bad way.

I think it's not his fault that he is bad but to put it bluntly, yes he is bad. Based on what happened in his childhood, that is what molded him into what he became. He became power hungry and he wanted all eyes on him. I honestly feel sorry for him but killing your own brother then trying to kill your nephew,NOT COOL.

We all know he got evil somehow. We all know he wasn't born a demon! Based on my thoughts, Ahadi(his father) gave him the scar when he met Shenzi, Banzai, and Ed. Then Ahadi got angry with him and gave him that scar. Taka was so upset with himself that he wanted to be called Scar forever and always.

He got dark hearted when Ahadi was always with Mufasa. He shortly grew jealous. But I think what really made him angry was that he was supposed to be next in line for king after Mufasa, so he killed him and got rid of Simba. But I think he sort of regreted it sometimes.

he is bad onlye beacuse he was left out buy the familly and he's father love mufasa and hate taka.little taka was alone all days and then he's father give him a sacr and buy then becuse he's father taka bad now.

In my opinion, I don't think he was very bad. lol He just killed his brother which IS a big deal. But hwas just jelous...and I guess when people get that jealous they kill that person (in this case lion) that they were jealous of.. lol
