OOC:://Accepted ~ Joseph awoke to his alarm clock screeching loudly just at his bedside, reaching over and turning it off with one lazy hand. I really don't feel like work today. He thought, seeing Tango and Cash running past his door and around the house. He sat up on his bed and scratched his bare chest, throwing the blankets back and standing up. He had a deep feeling in the pit of his stomach that the puppies had destroyed yet another thing. It was about 6:30 and he had to be at work by 8, good thing too because the two rambunctious puppies had nearly destroyed his living room. Joseph grunted and glared at the two, who were hiding on the other side of the couch. The lamps were knocked over, the coffee table chewed, the blinds for the windows were destroyed and the couch pillows were torn apart. "Alright, enough of this. You two are going to get a serious wake up call." He said, the puppies whimpering as he neared them. They lowered down onto the ground and showed those brown puppy eyes.
Joseph stopped and sighed, he couldn't be mad at those little rascals no matter how much he wanted to. He shook his head and grabbed them gently by the collars, placing them in two separate crates in the 'mud room'. A room between the porch and kitchen with one open passage way but a door blocking the way between outside and there. The floors were tiled and ceiled so that messes wouldn't sink down and the smell lingered. In the corner was an air tight trashcan so if they had and accident Joseph could clean it up and throw it away without the smell flowing through the house. Toys were all over the place in the room and two separate trays of two bowls sat on different corners of the room. It was very neat in there for the most part, with a heavy duty gate to keep the dogs out of the kitchen when it wasn't convenient for them to be there. Tango and Cash pawed at their cage doors as Joseph stepped into the kitchen, still in view of the dogs. He started brewing coffee as he walked to the bathroom, taking a 30 minute shower and stepping back out again. He was dressed in a white long sleeve dress shirt with a tan colored suit jacket and matching khaki pants. His shoes were dress shoes, black lace up shoes.
He sat at the table and laced them up, watching as the coffee pot filled with coffee. Joseph finished tying his shoes and stood up, grabbing a coffee mug from the cupboard and pouring himself some. He added three tea-spoons of sugar and a shot of milk. Ah, that's just how he liked it. Joseph looked at the time on his watch, 7:13 AM is what the watch read. He grabbed a bowl and some cereal, pouring some in the bowl with some milk as the puppies watched intently on him. Joseph sat at the table with his back to them, sipping his coffee and eating some cereal. He had to make sure he ate enough so that he wouldn't get hungry on the job and have to take another break, his boss was getting a it suspicious from all the breaks he took during the work day. About 3 each day for various reasons. Just as he finished his cereal and took a swig of his coffee the tall policeman grabbed his semi-automatic handgun from under the sink. One of many other hidden guns around the house. He slipped it into his belt and slipped his jacket on, grabbing his coffee off the table and leaving the house. He locked the doors behind him and left the dogs home, all alone in crates. He'd call someone to send them over to let them out every hour.

Alexis awoke bright and early that day to go outside and run with the dogs for a few minutes, like she did every morning. The fit young woman grabbed a few tennis balls in each hand, running along side a few dogs as the pack followed her. She took one ball and launched it far, all the dogs accelerating to it's location. Alexis grabbed another ball and launched it again so there wouldn't be just one ball to bring back. The first ball had been nabbed by a german shepherd name Vixen and the second one grabbed by a pit bull named Tonka. Alexis threw the third one towards a hill, having it bounce off a rock that she wasn't aiming for. She laughed happily. Earlier she had a great breakfast and was going to go to the gym to start her other job. She was a part time gym instructer, but she enjoyed being with her dogs more than anything. She looked over her shoulder as the dogs ran back to her again, deciding she'd go for a quick run on the trail. "C'mon pups." She called to the dogs, beginning to jog down the trail.
Her small chihuahua named Peanut stayed at her side, trotting along happily next to his 'mother'. The little dog was nearly trampled by the bigger dogs though, occasionally snapping on one or two when they stepped on him. Alexis didn't correct the negative behavior, simply because he was just defending himself. She kept jogging until she got a call from her walkie talkie she carried hooked to her pants. "Yes?" She answered back, sliding her finger off the button so she could hear what they were saying. "You might wanna come back and see this." A man on the other end said, an obvious dog barking in the background. She confirmed she was coming back and raced the dogs back down the trail again, her long brown locks flowing in the wind as she ran.

As Joseph sat his cup down into the cup holder of a 2013 Ford F150 he hopped in the driver's seat, putting the key in the ignition. Joseph took a second to grab his seat belt and secure himself to the seat, since he had lost his mother in a car accident he started taking more care and consideration with his driving. From inside the house he could hear the dogs barking frantically as if they suspected he was going to be gone forever. Joseph shook his head and shut the car door, turning to radio on low as he rolled down his window and pulled out of his driveway. He was heading down to the police station, where he worked for countless hours each day to make sure that everything was running smoothly and that if someone needed interigation, he could be there to be the strong and persistant guy that he is. He kept driving along peacefully until he made it to his job, parking in his reserved spot and walking inside, cup of coffee in hand.
"Hey Chief!" One officer greeted as he walked out the door, Joseph grinnned and turned, "Hey." He replied back, walking past everyone else who was hard at work and heading straight to his office. On the door was his name and under it was 'Chief'. It was a very common nickname for Joseph, even before he had taken the job. He took a seat behind his desk and looked at the paper work that someone had set there for him, putting his glasses on and reading over them. It was a woman filing for her car being stolen from a parking lot, attached was a picture of the car and the liscence plate number. He called one of the officers in so they could handle it, he had more important things to look at. He was just about done organizing all the files when he got a phone call from Animal Control, telling him that his dogs were at the shelter and they needed to be picked up. In his head he was wondering how they got out of their cages and out of the the front yard.
He shook his head, getting a light headache from thinking about all the things they may have destroyed and he'd have to pay for. He agreed to pick them up and he went to his boss, "Hey boss, I have to go for a minute. I'll be back as I swear." He said, hoping his boss would have some sympathy. When he was reluctant to give him 30 minutes Joseph sighed, "My dogs again sir please." His boss looked up from his desk and reluctantly agreed, "Go get your dogs, you can take the day off today. But I expect you here two hours early tomorrow." Joseph grunted but agreed to the offer, hurrying to gather his things and leave. He pulled the gun from his belt and placed it in the glove compartment, since he had a liscence to conceal a deadly weapon. Being a cop and all. It took Joseph around 25 minutes to finally get to the shelter, his two dogs waiting anxiously for him. This was their second time being caught. As he filled out some paper work and payed the fine an animal officer stopped him, "Joseph, if your dogs escape the confines of your yard one more time they will be put down immediately." Joseph shook his head, that means something bad happened. "What happened?" He asked, eyeing the short slender blond woman, "They attacked a poodle down the street, leaving him in serious danger of dying. The owners aren't happy with you."
Joseph gasped, putting his attention down on the two dogs who were standing at his sides. "We normally call this redzone case, something we will not tolerate. So I suggest you build a fence and get those dogs secure in some type of enclosure." The woman said before turning and leaving. Joseph nodded, the dogs dragging him out to the parking lot. As he opened the door to his truck both dogs leaped in and jumped in the back seat, sitting anxiously to get home. Joseph shut the door behind them and opened his door, climbing in and shutting it with obvious frustration. The woman walked back up, "We could offer to neuter both of your dogs and give them distemper shots, or put them down now." She said, her green eyes catching the rage dancing in his eyes. Despite it though he smiled a smug grin, "I'll put them down, when someone puts you down." He said, sitting back and putting the truck in reverse, "Have a nice day." He said before pulling out of the parking lot, heading home.

As Alexis came back to the facility she noticed that there was a dog trying to get at another dog, a few of her friends standing there clutching the leashes. She jogged up, taking the leash and giving it a gentle jerk. From there she layed the dog on his side, holding him down until he was calm. It took a few minutes for the rottweiler lab mix named Cujo to finally settle down, when he did she let him up. As he was walking away the other dog tried his best to get at him, pulling hard on the leash. Alexis practiced the same thing with that dog too, using her hand as the mouth of another dog. She looked up at her friends, "Cujo isn't hurt is he?" She asked, looking around to see where the big black dog had gone. Her friend, a red head petite young girl named Emma, shook her head "No, Cujo held his ground for the most part. I'm more worried about him." She said, pointing to the German Shepherd pitbull mix, who's name was Riley. Alexis sighed, taking in a few deep breaths.
"He's fine. But from now on he'll be wearing a muzzle when he isn't supervised." She suggesting, stroking the now calmed dog. Her friend nodded and informed the others of why she wasn't mad at all, because she couldn't lose her temper while she trained the dogs. She stood up and looked at her friends, "So what's on my agenda for today?" She asked, Emma joining her on another walk. "I don't know Lex but did you hear about the two Presa Canarios that got out and almost killed that poodle?" She asked her, trying to have a conversation her friend would be interested in. Alexis gasped, " 'My God, I wish the owner would give me a call. I have to see those dogs." She said, looking over at her smaller friend. Emma nodded, "They said it was the Chief of Police's dogs that got out." She said, eyeing her. Alexis' jaw dropped, "I should drive by the station and see if he's there, give him my card and let him call me. I know what the town might be thinking about these dogs, they need some help and fast." Alexis said, turning and looking at her car.

Joseph let the dogs back in the house, trying to avoid the neighbors as they stepped on their porch and watched him go into his house. This whole ordeal was just stressful for him and the dogs. Tango ran and leapt onto the couch as Cash jumped in the reclining chair and lazily slept. Meanwhile Joseph went to his office at home and sat down at his computer, going on several websites to try different dog trainers. As he looked further and further he noticed some of the dog trainers he had not used before, calling one who lived only a few blocks away. He came out immediately, walking on the porch and knocking on the door. Joseph stood a few seconds after the dogs started snarling and barking at the door, praying that everything would go good. As he opened the door Tango and Cash growled deep from their throats, lunging at the man who stood on the porch as he tried to shake Joseph's hand. "I'd ask 'what can I do to help you' but I can see it already." He gave a nervous chuckle.
Just as Joseph was about to explain it to him Tango jumped forward and grabbed the man by the long sleeve shirt, muscling him to the ground. Cash joined in quick, grabbing him by the pant leg and ripping his jeans apart. Joseph grabbed the two dogs and stumbled back inside the house, unable to use his hand to shut the door in fears that they'll get away and back to the trainer. Joseph hurried and kicked the door shut, his dogs jogging over to the window and snarling at him through the glass. Joseph hurried and slipped outside to appologize to the man. "I'm sorry. It's my fault, I should've kept them back." He said, helping the man off the ground. The trainer shook his head, "I hate to tell you but those dogs have no hope, I suggest making an appointment with the vet and have them put to sleep." He suggested, striking a nerve in Joseph's heart. Joseph's gaze went to the floor as he nodded, thanking the man for his time before walking back to the house.
He went back and looked at one website all about dog training, noticing a girl in a picture with 30 pitbulls laying side by side with no problems with it other. Joseph was stunned that she was able to control that many powerful dogs at one time, deciding to give her a call. Tango and Cash sat in the kitchen and barked for Joseph, they were ready to be fed and ready to go outside for a walk and for some play time. Joseph used the phone in his office to call the girl who's name was Alexis. When he got one of her crew members he told them about the troubles he was having and the breed of dog they were and that they only had one more time before they'd be put to sleep. Obvious distress hinting in his voice, "If she could help that'd be great. I'm literally out of options here and I need some help. These are my boys and I love 'em with all my heart. If I had to put them down I'd never be able to live with myself again, please." He said, Tango coming and sitting in the doorway. Not too long after Cash did the same.

Alexis and Emma continued to talk about the facility and the dogs, trying to get on something they both agreed with. Emma was like the sister Alexis never had, a fun loving spirited young girl who had a desire to be at Alexis' right hand. It made the two the best of friends. They took about 20 minutes to finally come back to the office, there the secratary Philip took the calls. He stopped Alexis from going away into another part in the house, holding the phone away from his mouth as he spoke to her. "Alexis, it's the cop with the two Presa Canarios. He said its very urgent that he get some help for these dogs and that if you could give him a call when you in that he'd like to talk to you. Alexis nodded, eager to take the call and see everything that was wrong and all the problems. "Sir she just stepped in now, here I'll put her on for you." He said, pressing the button that put the office phone on speaker. Alexis smiled and leaned against the table, expecting to hear a whimpy guy's voice on the other end of the line.
"Hello, Joseph?" She said, getting the name from Philip. When he answered her she was a bit shocked to hear that his voice was pitched so low, thinking that he must be tall since his voice was so deep. She cleared her mind and focused on the dogs, "I hear you've got some troubling dogs, is there a time where you'd like to meet or I could come out right now and observe is that okay?" She asked, waiting for him to answer her. Meanwhile Emma, Philip and a few other friends walked out to the pack, all running around playing with the dogs and keeping an eye on Cujo and Riley so they wouldn't fight anymore. This was beginning to be a routine for the crew members; take calls, help on some cases, feed the dogs and play with them. Though not all the time were they asked to feed or play with them, only the times when Alexis couldn't do it and was too tired when she returned from a long day at her jobs. Alexis grabbed a pen and a piece of paper from her desk and waited for him to answer so she could jot down the time and place.

Joseph was thrilled to hear her voice on the phone finally. "Yes, thanks for taking my call and as soon as possible, my boss gave me off today and so today would be the best if it's okay with you." He said, getting another knock at the door. The dogs went nuts, barking and jumping against the door to get to whom ever was outside. Just the mail man. He put the phone away to let her listen to the dogs raging. "I need serious help with these dogs." He said, sighing and rubbing his head. "They not only are dog aggressive but people aggressive too, I can't take them to dog parks and they practically walk me around the neighborhood." He looked around for them as he continued to explain to Alexis all his problems he had with them.
"I tried walking them with muzzels but it still doesn't stop them from pulling and lunging at other dogs. They've only got one more chance before they're destroyed and I'm really at my wits end with these dogs." He said, leaning back in the chair as Tango walked to him and put his massive head in his master's lap. "If you do decide to come you might want to bring a baseball bat." He joked, trying to show that he still had hope in these dogs even though everyone else didn't. They were his best friends and like his sons, the two troublesome twins that always caused trama to someone. Joseph stroked Tango gently on his head and watched him, sure that he'd have to get rid of them sooner or later or they would be taken from him. Both of those thoughts saddened him, since he did truly love those dogs.

Alexis sat back, listened and jotted down some notes as he talked. This case sounded a bit extreme and she could tell by the stress levels in his voice that he was really fed up with those dogs. "Okay. Well how about I swing on by today and take a look at them, is-" She paused and looked at the time on her computer, "8:30 okay?" She asked, then asking him for his address. After he gave it to her she nodded her head, "I'll be there shortly." She said, hearing the dogs going balistic in the background which made her a bit nervous. Presa Canario dogs were huge and had a lot of power and strength, especially a strong bite to follow after it. She had only worked with 3 in the previous years and they all didn't sound quite as bad as these two dogs did. She wondered how on Earth she was going to get these dogs to calm down but she'd try anything for this desperate man.
Meanwhile outside the crew members were busy getting her car started and then went to check and make sure the dogs had enough water to sustain them. Once everything was okay the crew came back inside to the AC, feeling a heavy relief from the hot sun outside. They could tell the kiddy pools for the dogs would need to be filled and placed outside so that they would have a place to cool off besides under the shade of a tree, but first they had to ask the woman in charge of it all. Alexis. As they're walking the dogs run circles around them, barking playfully and pawing at each other. Such a peaceful pack to live with.
