A quick fan fiction about Kovu and Kiara's daughter Keeba. Move it if it has to be moved. I shall be posting chapter by chapter.
******************* Chapter 1
Kiara nuzzled the small brown cub in front of her. A female, born to the Pridelands the previous day. Kovu, Kiara's mate and king of the Pridelands, approached and smiled. "She's beautiful," he murmured. "What shall we call her?" "Keeba," Kiara replied. "I like that name." The proud parents sighed and Keeba gurgled. "Mama!" With a smile, Kovu licked his daughter and Kiara wept with happiness for the newborn princess. ********************
Keeba leaped out of the cave and grinned at the land before her. A content purr escaped from Keeba's mouth as she jumped to the floor. "Daddy'll never know!" A low growl came into Keeba's hearing. The cub sighed. She knew it was to good to be true. "What're you doing out here?" a lioness snarled. "Aunt Vitani!" Keeba yowled. "Please don't tell!" "I won't tell if you won't." Vitani smiled. "I'm having a bit of breakfast before the hunt!" Keeba and her aunt grinned at each other and wandered slowly away from Pride Rock.

Thanks, new chapter here:
Chapter 2
A young cheetah paced around a small ledge. Bakiijah needed something to do, something to pass the time. "Come on, Aunt Vitani! Let's go down here!" Bakiijah swung round. What was this? A lioness and a cub? Any opportunity was a good one for a cheetah who loved to torment people. She crept closer and leaped towards Vitani and Keeba ...
**********************
Kovu nuzzled his mate and smiled at her. The pair of them had just woken to find a beautiful morning sun lighting the cave. With a yawn, Kovu got to his feet. The lion padded towards the edge of Pride Rock and gazed down at the kingdom below. A lioness' roar echoed through the Pridelands. The king scanned the area for any signs of trouble. Zazu and his younger brother (the new majordomo) landed beside Kovu's feet. "Bad news, sire!" "What is it?" Kovu asked impatiently. "Keeba and Vitani, sire - I think they need our help!"

Sorry, been away from the forums for quite some time (broadband promblems etcetera) Here goes:
A yellowish, spotted cat leaped at Vitani from behind, scoring her muzzle with its claws. Vitani shrieked in pain and Keeba crouched in the bushes below. Another blow was dealt the Keeba's aunt, and the last thing the youn gcub saw of her was he body falling to the floor. "No!" she screamed and the spotted cats pounced on her.
Kovu and a few more lionesses rushed forwards, growling. They spotted Vitani's body and Keeba, half-concious, pinned to the ground. "Cheetahs!" "Yes, oh Mighty King!" Bakiijah grinned. "We are stronger than you think! See, ever since your precious first King Mohatu made that law that no cheetah was to enter the Pridelands, we got a bit ... uh, bored! We needed something to do. We wanted revenge, most of all! My mother, as clan leader, sent me on a little expedition a few weeks ago to GET revenge and I seized the perfect opportunity!" "No!" Kovu cried. "You can't steal my daughter away from me!" Bakiijah smiled again. "I think we can." She scooped up the cub in her mouth and scurried off, leaving a distraught Kovu to wail in sadness ...
