I have heard people say that they think Chumvi and Kula are siblings because of their similiar appearance. I must first say I don't think they do look similiar at all- but I have better proof.
In the book Chumvi and Kula star in, Nala's dare, it says these exact words...

Before Nala had a chance to say more, Chumvi said, "I've got to go, my mom won't let me stay out late anymore."
"See you tomorrow" said Kula. As soon as Chumvi dashed off, Nala said, "He's in for a big surprise. I'm not dropping the dare, only cowards do that."
"Come on, Nala" Said Kula-


And the rest is unimportant. But it is obvious that the way Chumvi says my mom rather then our mom and he has to go but Kula doesn't, surely indicates that they are not siblings. It can be found here by the way...

Nice find souly! i dont think they are siblings either. Even though both of them have brown fur ,its not the same. Chumvis is darker while Kulas is much lighter. That and what souly found, there isnt any proof that they are siblings.

This is really good information LSK, and it clarifies their relationship. I'm one of those members who does believe Kula and Chumvi are siblings, and for the purposes of my story they will be, so I'll ignore this canonical information (as I've done with the others), but I really do think that this is an interesting find.

Thanks for the comment Dakota, and I agree- this is a fansite, where we have our independent ideas. For example, I believe that Tama could be Mega's daughter, or Tojo is Simba's brother, but there is no proof of this and it's probably not true- it's fun to think these things up!

I was reading Nala's Dare online and I have to agree, I heard people saying that they were siblings, and at first it was easy to believe, but then while reading the book I though "These two can't be siblings, otherwise Kula would have to go home too!" unless they are half siblings or he just said my mother for an unknown reason and Kula is aloud to stay out later, as she might be the eldest, but I still think that they are not siblings
