Scamp walked over to his son. "Your mother was a bit like you when she was your age, I can remember when I first layed eyes on her, the pound control officer was chasing Buster and his gang, and they took his hat. I was chained up but I could still see the action, the hat landed in the yard, and so I picked it up and then gave it to Angel." Replied Scamp. "And I can also remember when I knock half of the junkyard onto Buster hehe."

Lily pranced over to her Uncle Scamp and cousin Scruffy, "Well I wanna be just like Grandpa Tramp!" Lily said with her head raised high, "He had it the best! He was the greatest street dog there ever was. I want to be free, bein a house pet just isn't the life for me." The dark brown colored mutt muttered, her long tail swaying behind her.

Jock's stomach growled, begging for food."Well...I'd better fulfill my stomach's request for food!"Jock pranced back to his yard, and to his secretive "Bone Bank".He mumbled a song, and took one of his bones, and ate it.

Scamp had heard what Angel said. "Ha ha very funny, but it`s true Lily, I was just like you when I was your age." Said Scamp, scratching behind his ear just like his father did. "You could get hurt out there, your aunty Angel is right, besides, I thought the housepet life wasnt the life for me, until I got a taste of the real streets, the cruel, cruel world out there can be very harsh.

"I learned that the hard way." Chuckled Scamp. "All the time I used to think that bein` a housepet wasn`t the life for me,that there was nothing here but rules, rules, rules. But trust me Lily, the streets are cold and cruel." Scamp walked over to his daughter. "Hey, what you doing sweetheart?" Asked Scamp, he was just bored and wanted to talk, sometimes Scamp wished he was back on the streets, a wild dog, but he knew that his home was where he belonged, even if he was wild at heart, you could take him out of the wild, but you couldn`t take the wild out of him.
