oh! come on people, sure it was bad, and the jokes sucked..but the producers put time and money into this film... i heard that the animators do something like 12 hours for 1 minute... can you imagine??? drawing for 12 hours and for just 1 minute of screen time??? how suckie would that be?

After a re-think, I didn't really like this movie. It felt too much like a re-hash of the original. The best parts were the scenes with Timon and the meerkat colony. It had something that the rest of the film lacked - novelty. It's an alright film, but I do not think it's the best DTV film ever made. Simba's Pride was way better.

It stank. Thye should have made a movie about Kovu and Kaira's cub(s) now That would have made a really good TLK movie! But no, it's Timon and Pumbaa. Sheesh....

Personally I would've preferred a prequel with Adahi and Cub Mufasa and Taka or one about Nala. One about Kovu & Kiara would've been good but only if it wasn't about their cub(s), that would've been too predictable and boring. I agree, tho I dunno how anyone can hate this movie. Its not anything like LK2. LK1/2 is a comedy and LK2 is a romance. But a prequel would be 100 times better than another sequel. I'm glad they made Lion King 1 1/2. It had charm and was entertaining and stayed true to the original film. I can't say as much for LK2, tho that movie isn't completely terrible either.
