The storm swelled river surged by. The Pride Landers thought they’d won, they celebrated…unknowing it wasn’t over.
A paw tore out of the torrent and clutched the bank of the river. Coughing massive amounts of water from her lungs, an exhausted and half dead Zira pulled herself free of the raging torrent with her good leg, her other front leg having been hurt by a log in the torrent. She collapsed on the shore, panting heavily as she was finally out of the raging river. Once she caught her breath, the vengeful lioness set up, supporting herself with her good leg. “I’m alive?” she asked, almost having trouble believing that herself. She then got a psychotic smirk on her face and began laughing manically. “I’m alive!” she yelled, laughing more, her psychotic mindset having gotten much worse with her near death experience. She looked up at the rain filled sky, a snarl crossing her face, remembering how she’d ended up here. “Zira’s still around, Simba, you and everyone you know are going to die!” she roared, limping off into the Outlands to return to her lair, knowing she‘d be alone but she didn‘t care. She‘d been alone before…she‘d make due until the perfect time for her revenge came.

Plot: It’s been over a year since Kovu and Kiara became the leaders of the Pride Land, Simba and his queen having retired to live out their days in peace. And now the pride lands have a new heir, Kiara having given birth to twins, a boy and girl. Everything seems to be peaceful…that is until a few months after their children’s birth.
Kovu’s mother, Zira, survived her fall into the raging river and escaped into the Outlands, spending the next year healing from her wounds and plotting her vengeance. With news of the birth of Kovu and Kiara’s child, Zira finally makes her move. Late at night, the psychotic lioness sneaks into Pride Rock and makes off with her ‘grandchildren’, taunting the parents before escaping into the night, daring them to chase her. However, this time, they’ll be on her turf, in the Outlands, exactly where she wants them. Can they recover their children from the vengeful Zira before its too late?

Zira can have some followers she’s gained in the time, but she’s still the main villain.

Name: Merah
Age: Slightly younger than Zira (not sure how much)
Gender: Female
Appearance: Skinny, dark furred, like most Outlanders were before joining the pride (which she did not). Has more normal colored, green eyes. She’s got a light build but is relatively attractive and knows it.
Personality: She’s an extremely prideful lioness, and considers herself far more beautiful than she actually is. She thinks she deserves to have whatever she desires and doesn’t care for anyone but herself. However, she’s also an extremely cunning lioness who knows how to play people and to act very effectively. That said, she actually a complete coward and she’s terrified of Zira, despite being able to manipulate her to some degree. She fears what might happen if a dark secret she had comes out. She’s also secretly extremely bitter about Zira being chosen as Scar’s mate over herself.
Pridelander/Outlander: Outlander
Other: Name means Bitter in Swahili. She’s the only Outland Lioness that didn’t return to the Pridelands besides Zira. This is due to a dark secret that not even Zira knows, though Simba and Nala suspect. She was banished for attacking Kiara when she was a cub and serves as Zira’s second in command.
