Hi, I'm LionKingTails11 and I'm new to the site! I joined because I have my own LK family tree, and have made my own stories which I would like to share.
Prologue:
Once upon a time, the Spirit of the Sahara was thinking. It knew (as every wise spirit does) that every section of it's realm needed a ruling species. The Serengeti hadn't one. The Spirit decided to create a new species, that would be cat-like, with huge paws and gushing, silky locks of hair around the head. It created the lion. There were ten of them, and they lived peacefully in the South of the Serengeti.

"Isn't he handsome, Ara?" asked the chocolate brown lioness, Aria, gesturing to her son. Ara watched the two cubs rolling around on the grass. Aria's son, Kujil, had pinned his best friend Saloo to the ground and was laughing at the expression on the red-furred cub's face. "What's so funny?" she asked, irritated at having lost the play-fight. "Oh, nothing," Kujil replied cheekily. "It's just that you look stupid with your eyes rolled upwards!" Saloo leaped to her paws and began pouncing on him, yowling pathetically. "Oh, he's handsome alright!" Ara told Aria, breaking into a smile at the young lions' antics. Her own daughter, Ua, was frolicking with another of the cubs.
Stealth, and prosision...stealth, and prosision... Baro concentrated on getting his jump just right, edging forward a whisker length at a time. "Too slow!" Ua cried as she knocked him to the ground. "You're going to have to do better than that if you want to beat me," Baro shook the dust from his pelt, annoyed. Why does she have to be the best at everything?[i] I'm [i]supposed to be the heir to the throne, not her.
A sudden call brought the four cubs to their senses. It was pride leader and Baro's father, Balto. "Looks like it's time for hunting," Saloo remarked, and she and Ua bounded away for their daily hunting lesson. Baro said goodbye to Kujil and headed off to his lesson; it was important that Balto taught him all there was to know about being in charge. Kujil sprinted into the grass and rocks, eager to explore.
