Malicious Kovu. I can't stand the guy as he towered over Simba's lionesses, gazing sternly down at them from the perch on his little throne. Nothing had changed since the Outlanders had moved in here. They stole our food, competed with the king on a daily basis, and even flirted with him at times. Shameful and how will Kiara feel when I tell her that Kovu had been visiting his ex mate frequently. The tawny lioness even sent him a few flirts back, evil!
And now, I get suspicious as I see her walking passed the pride and so, I follow her.
I sink through the under bush as I stalk my target. She had done it yesterday as well.
Pfft! Kovu! He could never control her! She was never wanting to be controlled!
Meanwhile,
Kovu had assembled his lionesses and together, they had stalked back to their part of the cave as Simba had called it. He didn't like the constant leadership that followed Scar's reign and in Kovu, his heir.
I see her pawing at something, just digging through the grass. What is she doing......?
Suddenly, she pulls something out!
Great kings, is that a cub......!?!
That's when I realized what I had been smelling, the nasty stench of dried lion's blood!
A female to be exact.
Kiara bowed her head and looked at the body of a slain lioness. She was matted in her own blood.
"Eeuch, I'm going to be sick......!"
"Chumvi......!"
Sometimes, they call me Chumvi. I have no idea why.
"This is Kula." Kula looks up at me with sharp eyes. Those eyes are wide and opened and fearful. Again, I have no idea why. I do not harm cubs. That's Kovu's job. He had killed Acada's cub.
The only foolish thing that Simba had done was to listen to Kiara and let him stay. First night living with us permanently and he had already started trouble.
He had lied about Chanvo's death. The apparent cause......? Elephant bleating. Made it up about running off.
Kiara: Are you going to listen to anything that I have to say......!?!
"What......?"
Kiara: I told you to help me remove this lioness!
And so, the carcass is dragged away and removed from our sight.
The poor creature didn't even look like a lioness and she had both of her eyes gauged out.
Kovu: Now, I tell you, for the last time Simba. You and yours will get what's coming to you!
Simba jumps on him and pins him down. "I gave you a chance. I let you live in my land, eat my food. But, I won't have you corrupt everyone!"
Ever since he got here, he'd been nothing but a disease.
I now join the circle who had always thought of Kovu as untrustworthy. He'd make an insolent king.
I will not have him as a king!
