I'm not sure if this counts as pointless, or if anyone will even bother to read it, but the grammar people use on here, as we know, is quite horrid and ridiculous.

Staring a sentence
You always capitalize the first letter of a sentence.

I Vs. i
Of all grammar mistakes, this one bugs me the most. There is no exception, you ALWAYS capitalize I when you're talking about yourself. Why? Because I is a personal pronoun. Some people sort of have the idea, they capitalize it at the beginning of a sentence, but anywhere else they don't bother.

Punctuation
I honestly don't understand how someone can write using no punctuation. I find it extremely hard to manage that. Anyway, you ALWAYS need to use punctuation when typing. This makes what you're saying clear to the reader, otherwise it may take awhile for you get a response because we're over here trying to decode the mess you just wrote.

Thanks for reading!

Maybe, I'm not sure if this is worth sticking.

"'i' before 'e' except after 'c'"

Paragraphs make your sentences easier on the eyes to read! Easily made just by pressing the enter button when you are done writing about a particular subject! For example, these line are a new paragraph because their topic is different from the above line.

Yes, yes, feel free to add your own lessons. (= If they're correct that is. We don't need a bad grammar lesson here.

Commas, every other word, aren't really, necessary, if you know, what I mean.

Commas are meant to be a short pause between two completely different phrases in the same sentence. I've seen a few people (not on this site, thank goodness, but what the hay) use commas whenever they would pause when saying the sentence out loud.

Hence, whenever they need, to take a breath or, something, they put a comma, there in that, sentence.

I think that should cover it, don't you?

Sometimes it is appropriate to use commas at points you would pause, an example would be if you were writing a speech... :D

Now that I think about it, it's impossible to have a single topic that encompasses all the grammar people need to know. After all, the first rule of rules is that every rule has an exception.

Thus proving my point.

Don't forget the difference of 'there', 'their', and 'they're'. I see this mishap way to often.

there = location

their = possession (hence why it has an 'i' in it)

they're = they are

I don't see why people can't remember that. Once in a blue moon I might be in a
hurry and mess up and switch one around, but to do it constantly... that's bad.

And the "you're/your" thing.

You're - A contraction, meaning "you are."

Your - A possessive, meaning "of you" as in, "the object is yours."

A friend of mine (not gonna say names) confuses the two all the time, and it bugs me.

Oh eek! I knew there were some exceptions to the rule. It works as a general thing, though

The saying 'I before E, except after C.' Try reading the quotes, too.
