I really want to add something like 'Movie Mistakes' at a Fun & Facts page on my own Spirit fansite. I know some mistakes in the movie, but I was wondering if you guys know some more of them! It would be awesome if you would know some more ^^

I know about these:
Image Esperanza's tail
Image Spirit's tail
Image Disappeared bridle
Image Foal's marking

Please let me know if you know any more mistakes!

This is brilliant ^^ I love finding mistakes in movies (*nerd alert*)

There's this one:
/spirit/e ... display=18

And then there's this: misaligned chains

I've lightened the screenshots so it's easier to see

Hehe same here, it's so much fun to watch movies and look for all kinds of mistakes x3

Thanks for the additions, Beth!

I also noticed there's something wrong with the cavalry men chasing Spirit and Little Creek in the canyon at the end. There's the Colonel and two other soldiers. One has no mustache or beard, but the other one.. Well, swaps facial hairs xD First he has a mustache and a goatee, but the next moment he has a beard like Miller. I'll put some pictures together to show it ;)

You're welcome. I love finding them ^^ I'm also one of those annoying people that proof read text in books, menus, posters etc etc and point out spelling and grammar mistakes ^^

I'm sure there's more, but I'll have to go back and find them; I didn't record where they all were.

Don't know if this counts as a 'mistake', but you can see the lines between the layers here, as Spirit and rain fall over the waterfall

Yeah I'm sure there is a lot more to discover xD

I'm not sure if that is really a mistake.. It more looks like bad computer animation.

This is what I meant with the cavalry men at the canyon chase:

Ah, i see what you mean now. It's almost as if the Colonel and Miller have merged into one XD

4 more for you. I must confess, only 1 of these I found myself: the others are from IMBD and moviemistakes.com

Spirit's head collar is never removed, it simply vanishes
Image

When Spirit breaks the post tethering the horses, their bridles periodically vanish and reappear
Image

The pen Spirit is put into goes from 9 panels to 13 panels (however, I'm not sure this is necessarily a mistake, as the Lakota could easily have added the extra panels to make the pen wider for training purposes)
Image

And The Colonel's gun goes from cocked to uncocked (again, not sure about this one, as I'm unfamiliar with guns. This one I got from IMDb. They said "When the colonel is about to shoot Spirit, he cocks the hammer on his Remington revolver but when Little Creek runs into him, the hammer is uncocked. " )

Thanks again, Beth! This really helps for my fansite's page. I'm not sure about the Colonel's gun either, but the rest is great! I found another one. It was on moviemistakes.com, but I had noticed it in the movie earlier.

When Spirit licks the icicle, it's quite thick. When it breaks off and he holds it in his mouth, it's much thinner.

Hi, I don't know what you would call this...

The foals were standing under Esperanza and then they disappeared.

Is that a mistake?

Good one Troll ^^

Here's another I found watching the movie today

Murphy's hand gets bitten by Spirit through his glove, but in the closeup his glove vanishes. He never removes it, it just disappears.

Glove on: http://i2.wp.com/screencaps.us/200/2-sp ... m-2491.jpg

T: Thank you ^^

Now, I am not completely positive that this is a mistake, but Spirit's neck looks very strange.

Another one ^^
When the cavalry horses escape with Spirit, they have no brands on their shoulders, but when he looks back at them they do have brands.
