Well I guess I'd fit right in with some of the rest of you in sharing my art, because I mostly draw animals in a cartoon style; wolves, Sonic the Hedgehog & co, and some cats too! I'll one day aim to draw better birds. I know how to do the wings really good, but I have to practice more on their legs and feet.
I also drew an anime girl once, and it didn't suck. I messed up some on the shading but still! And yeeeah a lot of this is on notebook paper because I wanted to keep them into the one notebook I started to draw Sonic stuff in.
Here's a small-ish sample of some of stuff from a long while back.
My first-ever Okami Amaterasu fanart.Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance fanart. Ranulf there in laguz form ended up being to small and young to be what he looks like in the video game, yet I shrugged and thought, "Why not? This is cute anyway! Kitten Ranulf it is."
My first time drawing Shadow the Hedgehog. Sure, the quills may be lopsided but I'm still proud of this one. I think it's cool that I drew him holding a fireball, no doubt about to cause some damage.
Mao, from the Darker Than Black anime. My muse of him seemed a bit peeved and was reluctant to pose for me that day. :p Because what I wanted to draw
eventually was Mao wearing a cape and bearing an emblem that has the first letter of his name on his collar instead of the little bell. Haha, he didn't want to be embarrassed in having to look like a superhero. XD Proud Contractor kitty is proud.
One of my cuuuute fanarts of Miles "Tails" Prower. Falco Lombardi, from Star Fox. I really surprised myself in drawing and coloring this. I did it completely from scratch. I didn't have to use any reference pics!
Nana (Elfen Lied anime), startled to find herself as a lioness cub! I was in this writing roleplay community on this other site I go to and the current plot point idea going around with the majority of the members is their characters turning into African animals when they find themselves in the Pridelands. Like Sora in Kingdom Hearts 2 is a lion cub in the Lion King World? So I drew something out of inspiration with one of my cutest anime girls.
I printed out pics of Young Nala as references to help me some. I love !Cub Nala's startled expression. x3
