My first fan fiction

Im planning to do my first fiction titled ''Between Two Lands'' in which Balto, Kodi, and a new friend: Dinae (The name is similar to another char but its owner allowed me to use my name) get lost in a horrible storm and when they lose all their hopes, they meet the least expected person, a free sample here

In the great blizzard, three battered figures were walking with their last forces.

Balto was the name of one of them, he knew that never he saw an storm like that.

''I never should bring them here, it's all my fault,'' cried to himself while looking at his son Kodi, and his friend Dinae, suffering in that place, far far away from their homes.

The strength of the three soon ended, and fell exhausted into the snow.

A few moments later. Balto came to himself slowly as he watched the figure of a wolf approaching through the fog.

Mother? - Whispered, thinking he had left this world

But no, seeing the face -full of compassion- of that wolf, he saw his beloved daughter Aleu, the same he let go to the wild, a time ago.

Seconds later another three wolves appeared beside her and helped them, maybe everything was not lost yet.

Very, good. I, really like the story.

FYI, lose the commas. You don't need them in either places you put them. Instead, remove the period and replace it with a comma. :wink:

Not bad, not bad at all. I like the plot, it's very interesting, I may just read this one once it's complete. Good luck!

But why is everyone nesting quotes? That seems kind of pointless.

A new preview
Here you go

"Goodbye, daughter..." Balto said in a low, saddened voice, then he howled for her response.
Balto was dreaming, one of those specially strange dreams. This time was a flashback, the moment when his daughter, Aleu, went to lead a wolf pack, two years ago. He was awoke by the soft voice of his mate, Jenna.

"Wake up, sleeping beauty." Jenna said

"Oh, good morning love." Balto replied with a kiss for Jenna.

"Do you know what day is it?"

"Yeah! Why not?"

"So? Answer me!" Jenna playfully teased "It's the birthday of our boys!" Jenna added.
All morning long, Balto taught deeply about his dream, What means? was just a dream? Or a signal? Maybe A premonition?

"Dad, dad, daaad!" Kodi shouted at his father's boat.

"Uh, what's going on, son?" Balto questioned.

"Dingo and Saba will come soon. Get ready for the party!"

"Oh, Okay..." Balto can't avoid thought on his daughter Aleu, his 'baby', was out there in the wild, facing all kinds of dangers.

"If only I could see her..." He thought with a nostalgic sigh.
