This is just a thought that's ran around in my mind.

Balto has been aging throughout the movies, a young adult in the first, a adult in the second, and a bit of a older adult in the third. Since Balto installments are so few and in between, the title I have is "Legends Never Die" with a logline below.

A long lost brother of Balto's is discovered, Togo. However, everyone becomes shocked when they discover Balto's selfish past with trust and love being put on the line.

In reality, Togo and Balto are not related and their relation is only of that in fantasy. I chose not to add it in the logline but Balto also fights a life-threatening infection that slowly builds up. Since this is not an actual film, I'll release some details. We all know Aniu has always been seen as a spirit but in this we learn how she died and the mystery that is Balto's father (it is not indeed Nava) Aniu was shot by a hunter in finding food for her four month old litter. It was her wish in her last breath to Boris that he save Togo and Balto in fear the hunter may come back for more. Jealous of Young Togo's offering, Balto knocks Togo aside and tells a lie about his brother, how he is hungry for "duck meat."

Steele, Aleu, Kodi, and Niju all return. Muk and Luk are excluded as well as many of the other non-main characters in the last two installments (e.g. Dipsy, Muru, etc.) No musicals either, I found those to taint the 2nd and 3rd installments rather something like what was drone for the 1st Balto movie. And the rating is bumped up to PG.

You could say by the end of the movie, Balto sees the pearly gates.
Reflections?

I like it. It's a start, if you know someone who is experienced, (or if you are) at making animations, maybe you could pull this one off. It'd be short more likely, but hey. Nice work....

As a screenwriter looking to make my way in, maybe I will eventually have enough funds to buy the rights from Universal. Not sure whether to do the animation traditionally with 2D or go more modern with 3D. Depends when I get those funds.

Aleu and Niju's reappearance's act as a replacement for the absence of Muk and Luk. Aleu comes back from Russia where she and one of the pack had pups so she returns with a daughter, Jenny. The way its forming would explain what happened during Balto's long hiatus.

The reason I'm not including Nava is to pay respect to David Carradine.
Togo looks much more like Kodi but has Balto's eyes.

I know there are new rules, but aren't Balto 4 topics still banned? But there is a topic that you can share your ideas: post1497976.html#p1497976

I guess that might be suitable, even though the topics suggesting what you would do for a TV series, not a movie.
