Pinkie Pie, being a good friend however goofy she could be, placed a hoof on Fluttershy's back to console her.
"That actually makes a lot of sense." Applejack chuckled, liking the idea of Discord being so tiny. But she blushed, looking away at remembering she had been turned that size by a similar plant.

Fluttershy hugged Pinkie Pie and finished crying on her shoulder. "T-thanks, Pinkie Pie..." she said, giving her friend a smile.
"Wait a moment... A blue plant that does all kind of weird things... You created Poison Joke?!"
"So that's what you ponies call it?" asked Sakak, looking up. "Yeah, I did, but mainly to get rid of old Discord when he showed up trying to kill Celestia and Luna. I meant to get rid of it and save it for special pranks, but I guess in my abscence it's become a species of it's own, oh well, can't do anything about it now... Oh, I forgot, I took pictures," he said, snapping up a picture of a tiny Discord covered in blue spots being chased by a falcon through Everfree Forest. That caused Twilight and Rarity to burst out laughing.

Sakak nodded. "Yeah, though truth be told, Luna and Celestia were the ones who tripped him," he explained, thinking back. "Anyway, as I raised the two of them, we spent our time trying to think of a way to defeat Discord and save the world, but it seemed hopeless... That is until something... strange happened one day. The two had been talking alone, about each other, making up after a fight had gotten out of control and they'd hurt each other by accident, while I got us something to eat, there was a bright flash and when I came to see what it was, there were six pieces of jewelery on them, a big hole in the ground. Apparently, they'd somehow awakened something hidden underground for even longer than me and Discord have been around..."
"The Elements Of Harmony..." muttered Twilight.
"Yep, and when I sensed the power coming off those things, I knew we'd found something strong enough to stop Discord," explained Sakak. "We stormed his castle and they gave me a boost with the Elements, that's how I took down Discord's mate, so she couldn't help out Discord. Celestia and Luna fought Discord, but they couldn't get an open shot with the Elements. He was about to kill them when I came out, so I attacked him. You notice how Discord only has one front tooth? I busted out the other one in that fight. That's when he sealed me away. Don't know what happened next, but from the looks of it, they won and took Discord down. That is what happened, right?"

"Oh yes, that," said Sakak. "Turned her into a pony, took away her powers but kept her immortal, and, since Discord is sealed away in stone, she has to live for eternity knowing she failed to help him, that is unless she repents honestly and one of the Wielders of the Elements sets her free," he explained, giving a serious look. "She helpped him with everything he did, of her own free will. She deserved WORSE than I gave her... Alright, now I've explained everything to you, now you return the favor. How did you free me in the first place? Only the Elements Of Harmony's wielders could break that spell, and I'm guess Celestia and Luna's version wasn't strong enough to do the job," he said, still completely unaware he was talking to a group that had saved the world twice with the Elements.

Sakak's eyes went wide. "What? How?" he asked, surprised.
Twilight rubbed her head. "Yeah, we've got a lot to explain... We brought a picnic, let's explain over that..."

They were soon back in the main room, eating as they filled Sakak in. A skunk had snuck in while they were gone, looking for a bite. Thankfully, Fluttershy had gotten it pacified without anyone getting sprayed, it now laid curled up beside her sleeping, looking quite cute, which in turn made Fluttershy look more cute, not that she needed it.
"Wow... Well you have my thanks for freeing Luna from corruption," said Sakak. "But wait, if the Elements changed hands... That means the spell on Discord would've been broken!"
"It was and he escaped, but we managed to defeat that brute," said Rarity. "He's back in his stone prison and shant harm anyone ever again."
"Yeah... But it wasn't easy," said Twilight, lowering her ears from lingering emotional pain. "He pretty much broke us all emotionally at some point... I don't know if we've still completely recovered," she said, Fluttershy and Rarity nodding in agreement, showing a likewise reaction.

Applejack would help fill Sakak in, eating an apple tart. She gulped hard. "I'd be lyin' if I said I wasn't still recoverin', like everyone else. He was madder'n a one legged jackrabbit." she said with a frown, looking to Rainbow, who was still pretty hurt over it, too.
Pinkie Pie chuckled to herself. "It may have been scary, but I was grey! Can you believe it?! Me, grey." She laughed, though not uproariously.
Rainbow Dash smirked that confident smirk, trying to feign strength even though she was still beating herself up inside. "Rarity's right though, we defeated him, and he's not ever comin' back!"

Twilight nodded, explaining just what Discord had done, Fluttershy and Rarity both lowering their head when how Discord broke them had come up. Though in their cases, it wasn't the act itself but what they'd done while brainwashed. Fluttershy still had nightmares about the cruelty she'd done and Rarity had had a phobia of gems for a week or two afterwards, she was just now at the point she could look at them without seeing Discord's ugly mug. Twilight herself cried when she mentioned the part when she'd lost all hope, Rarity offering a hug and letting her cry it out.
Sakak gave a concerned look. "I'm sorry my rotten brother did that to all of you, I've seen him do it before," he explained, lowering his head. "As you can tell from Fluttershy here, he didn't HAVE to break you down emotionally beforehand, he gets a sick kick out of it. He might be my brother, but I hate him more than anything."

Rainbow Dash, Applejack, and Pinkie Pie all came around Twilight, concerned for their friend. Applejack's own eyes were filled with tears, but they didn't fall.
Applejack looked at Sakak. "We don't like him anymore'n you do. But, he's gone. What's done is done..." she said, even though she could barely ever look in a mirror. She hated lying, hated the idea of lying. the fact she had said such cruel or blatant lies make her reflection sickening to her eyes.

Fluttershy kissed the sleeping skunk on the head and joined the group hug, tears in her eyes and Rarity's too.
Sakak nodded. He didn't blame the poor girl for breaking down in tears, he'd seen his brother's handywork first hand. But he smiled as he looked them over. "I can see why you all are the Elements of Harmony now," he stated, thoughtfully. "All of you coming to comfort your friends without a second thought, that's a serious bond. If my rotten brother couldn't break that bond, it's got to be beyond breaking all together," he continued. "That's something I think is beyond Discord's understanding. He thinks he gets friendship, but he CAN'T, he's self serving sociopath who only cares about himself. That very fact makes it so he can't understand it," he said, then gave a chuckle. "I bet that eats away at him, the one thing in the entire universe that can beat him, and he's incapable of understanding it."
