Has anyone else seen these? I'd love to know why they cant/wont use the original artwork but interesting none the less... shame it isn't a Blu-Ray

Is that even official? I know that people sell a lot of fake merchandise and even fake DVDs on the internet. To me it looks kinda fake, especially the first one. Reused stock, unfitting empty background and odd, badly cut "Balto" logo are very suspicious.

I have to agree. Those look like illegal copies of the film. I would suggest reporting them to Ebay. Some of their reviews claim that they never received their items.

I'd never seen those covers before so they could be bootleg. If they aren't then it would be nice to think that thought is given to the film

The second one ain't a bootleg copy. It's official because I was at Walmart recently and I saw a copy of Balto on DVD and it had the same front cover as the one you thought were bootleg. This the link from Universal's online store to show you that it's actually not a bootleg copy of the movie. I think it's pretty crappy looking front cover. Wow, that's just sad. The original DVD cover is better than that, and it actually represents the film. I know Universal doesn't think very highly of Balto these days, but if they wanted to do a reboot of the original DVD, they could have tried harder to provide a better cover. I personally would have like to have seen them use the artwork they used on the VHS covers.

I personally wouldn't buy this since I already purchased a digital HD version of the film off of iTunes recently. But if anyone here has the DVD and wants it in widescreen, it appears to be in widescreen. ...I wonder if they fixed the bonus features. Probably not.

I was at Walmart today and came across the DVD as I was browsing through the electronics department. I was thinking about buying it, even though I truly don't need a fourth copy of Balto.

If anyone here gets a hold of a copy, could you tell me if the bonus features (minus the game and the trailer) are any good? If they're decent enough, I'll consider purchasing it just for functioning bonus features (might as well just add it to the pile XD).

I went ahead and bought this and ended up disappointed. The bonus features still don't work. In fact, this is the same DVD as the original DVD.

That sucks it's the same DVD as before. If it was widescreen I would actually buy it.

Oh my gosh. Are they serious?! That awful cover is official?! It looks like something a 10 year old kid would do on Paint.
Don't they know the cover is what makes people take the final decision to buy something, most of the time?

To be honest, I had never seen an OFFICIAL DVD cover without ANY logo on it. I mean... wow.

I'm not surprised about it having the exact same content, though. And still full screen. In 2015, with 4K resolution TVs. Wow.
(Why didn't they at least take the european version, which is widescreen?)

I think the blue one looks bad. I think it sucks that's it's offical. I'd seen the blue cover one at my local Walmart. So that means you can buy them at stores.

I've seen these around and just a few weeks ago I saw a copy at the store. It's a shame that it is not a Blu Ray release. I really wish they would make a different cover art for it though... The old one is starting to get old.
