Hello, my name is Hero Wolf, and I was drawn to this place from my own intrigue; you wouldn't dare hope to find a collaboration of such fine animated series anywhere else on the Internet. Believe me, I've looked!—and from past experience, Google doesn't lie. (Well, occasionally it may, but I digress.)

I am also known as Furry Wolfy, though if you don't feel obligated to type it all out in such a tedious manner, then you can call me plain ol' "Wolf"—however you, as a fellow member, are obviously entitled to refer to me in whichever way you want. I have various other aliases and epithets, though as you've probably already guessed, most of those names were already registered on this site, and therefore I won't disclose them, lest I bring about confusion to the masses. (And given its enormous size, it isn't hard to guess why.)

I take great interest in video games (since I was, say... three-years-old?), and so I'm also interested in a wide and broad variety of different franchises (Nintendo, Sony, Capcom, Gamefreak, etc.), and the popular series therein (the Legend of Zelda, Final Fantasy, Pokémon, Fire Emblem, etc.). I'm... more of an "old-school" gamer, if you'd call me that, as I'm not entirely opposed to the upcoming games of our day and age, but I'm not always suspended-on-tenterhooks-exuberant about 'em, either.

I have written several objects of literature, including a fan fiction that does not revolve around the universe of Balto, but rather incorporates some of its characters and elements—pieced together to unfold a greater, more personalized image. Since poetry technically fits into the same category, I should add that I absolutely LOVE to devise and write poems. If the opportunity should present itself, I hope to share some of my works here. (Especially my fan fiction, as intricate and as long as a professional novel.)

As far as other interests go, I generally have a love for animals, animalistic creatures, anthros and Furries, and above all: wolves. I doubt there's one thing on this earth I love more than them; they're majestic, brave, daring, tenacious, beautiful... and yet so much more. If I had to try and express my innermost feelings for them, I don't think mere words would be enough to suffice my passion—though how silly and perhaps idiotic it may sound, if I had it my way, I'd be a wolf. No questions asked. (Then I could be with my Aleu. <3)

...Oop, almost forgot. Balto, The Lion King—and almost all Disney movies? I'm a huge fan of them all, though not so much the ones that are released nowadays. (Hoo, I'm starting to feel like an old man.) Aside from the Princess and the Frog, I've probably watched every popular, hand-drawn Disney movie at least two dozen times, among other franchises.

And that's about it, though I'm afraid my true personality is just something that you'll have to experience with time. I've been on many forums—fifteen to be approximate—and on all such forums, I was flamed, abused, and driven away like some diseased-ridden beast. I earnestly hope a forum of this caliber will turn out to be a fun experience, and not one that makes me regret turning to the Internet for my own amusement. Of course, I'm nothing special, or out-of-the-ordinary, so I'll try my best to stay out of everyone's way.

...WOW. I think I may have made this introduction too long. Eheh, apologies. That said, I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone - this forum looks vast, to say the least. I've read the rules thoroughly—as I do with every forum—and... well... Umph. The page is starting to glitch - I'm afraid I may have inputted too many characters for its natural containment. ._. I'll shut up now. XD

Perhaps, perhaps. I would, quid pro quo, prefer to offer my fair share of posting to add to the already booming activity of this site first. After all, a community is not a community without its members; like blood to circulate the heart, we are as what keeps health unto this body of fascination.

^ I agree - it's too bad you've got to use a little trick to actually get those wolf smilies (they aren't shown on the default view to select the smilies). Ah well, at least they aren't gone for good.

Anywho, it's great to see another established writer on this site. I myself have a finished series of Balto fanfics that I worked on over a couple of years. Feel free to take a look at them if you want. The earlier stories will be a bit rough around the edges (mostly due to my inexperience at the time) but things better as you go along.

And what's this - another Zelda fan, I see. Have you been able to play Skyward Sword yet? I myself haven't had much time, what with my university studies, but I definitely will get through it over the Christmas break.

That's interesting - I may look into them. If I have the time, of course. My "Balto" fan fiction may take a while until it is that I can post it, because everything in it, save a few characters, are my original creation. And of course, each chapter's longevity is a minimum of 3,000 words, so each script must be handled with proper care. I'd say more, of course, but my alloted time is severely limited as of now.

And yes, I just got it this morning as a matter of fact. It's an amazing experience, to say the least.
