I think they might have been from Mac Donald's. I remember in the UK that round the same time the film was released Mac Donald's happy meal featured a plushie from TLK2.

We didn't get them from McDonalds because I remember going into to buy them at a store. We got that set of Kovu, Vitani and Nuka and we also got a set with Kiara, Timon and Pumba, we still have Kiara (but in very bad shape) and I think we lost Timon and Pumba a long time ago.
