Spirit Source has only has 9 Official Character pages, as opposed to many of the other Sources that have 2 pages of Official Character profiles. Personally, I’d really like to see more of the characters in the film get their own Official profiles. But which ones? Voice your opinions in the poll above and the comments below.

The 3 horses that Spirit met in the Lakota village, and that he helped to escape from the train

The Twin Foals:

The two foals in the Cimarron Herd that Spirit rescued from the Cougar. There's no evidence that they're actually twins, although most fans refer to them as such

The Colonel's Horse:

A very distinctive cavalry horse that the Colonel rides. Most likely male.

The Lakota Child:

The toddler in the Lakota village that approached Spirit. Most likely female, although there's also the possibility that it's a boy

Little Creek’s Friends:

No evidence that they are actually his friends, since they mock him mercilessly. They could be his male relatives or just tribe members.

The Sergeant:

Never named on screen; he's just referred to as 'Sergeant'. He's the man that the Colonel ordered to 'induct' Spirit, and the one who the Colonel asked how long Spirit had been tired to The Post

The Corporal:

Ordered by the Sergeant to 'round up some volunteers to take {Spirit} to the stables'

The Book Characters:

Characters from the books by Kathleen Duey. Characters include Rain's parents and grandmother.

Others:
Other lesser part characters from the film. Perhaps the buffalo herd from the start of the movie, the cowboys or the cavalry's horses, the mules from the train, or the mane with the whip from the train?

So, who would you like to see with official profiles? I'd definitely like the Lakota Horses, the Foals, the Lakota Child and the Colonel's Horse to have profiles. I'd also quite like the Sergeant and the book characters to have profiles too.

some of these are planed but not yet done, the tribe horses in fact i had done but my pc deleted it

the colonel's horse has a name (i found it the other day) and i will talk to kirada and UK about adding him/her

as for the others once again some are planned others never thought of

spirit source dosn't need to have more then 2 pages its a movie that its lack of characters is better giving minor background characters who don't have even a name credit would be pointless but the cow boys little creeks friends the child could be done at some point

as the for the books, i have not yet read them yet but they will be done. as far as i know out of the builders i am the only one with the books so they are slow

I agree that SS doesn't need 2 pages of official characters, especially if they're just random background characters. But I would like to see some of the secondary characters in the film get their own pages.

It's interesting: in the credits they list the names 'Bill', 'Joe', 'Pete', 'Jake' and 'Roy' but they never reveal which of the men those characters are. I assume they're the names of the cowboys, but which name applies to which man I have no idea.

I don't think there should be a page for every background character. It's pretty useless. The only characters I'd add would be the foal twins (both in one page)


It's usually listed in order who spoke first.

Usually, but it doesn't seem to be in this movie, since The colonel and Little creek are listed before Sgt. Adams or Murphy.

What we really need is a screenplay or script for the movie, listing the characters' names and then their lines ^^;
