Hello there, Spinners!

In this topic, I want to discuss with ya one thing, which would be impossible, but now it's becoming the real fact.

Do ya remember the moment in "Baloo Swichteroo" episode, when Baloo in Kit's Body and Kit in Baloo's one created the idea of throwing salt into the cloud to make massive storm?
And do ya remember the "Jolly Molly Christmas" one when Baloo and friend tried to make a snow cloud to make a snow for Becky as Molly begged the Louie dressed as a Santa Claus?

The Chinese and Russians made the similair idea, in order to prevent raining during Pekin Olympics and their defilades.
Also, in "Hacking Planet" programme, one of the institute in USA does the similair experiments.

What do ya think about it?

I didn't say about the episode with mirrors, but about the salt and commiting storms and the switched bodies.

What do you think? Will this bring good or bad consequences of using it?

They could probably use this against people. People could also possibly use this as a sort of weapon. Anyway kind of funny that a simple idea form a tv show actually works.

That's the one of the possible scenarios. But I think people would use it in order to bring humanity benefits. In my country, Poland, I had Christmas without snow. And I was disappointed just like Molly.

I live two countries away from you and i'm kind of worried. It's not just the lack of snow, but also the lack of temperatures below zero (celcius ).

Funny enough i just read State Of Fear by Michael Crichton (the author who wrote Jurassic Park, Timeline, ...) and the book is about an organization that wants to go to court about flobal warming, but want to take the opportunity to make a few natural disasters happen to prove their point. The idea of using chemicals to change the weather was one of 'em.

And I wonder - why in Talespin Thembrians didn't stal from Baloo and friends this technology as Russia did?

After seeing the Wiki on Cloud Seeding. I happen to recall an episode of The Rocky & Bullwinkle Show where Rocky Squirrel throws silver iodine crystals in the clouds to make it snow over the Island of Riki Tiki in order to tilt the earth right-side up again. Any you remember that show?

The science has been around for some time I think but was not used until later for the most part. The series got close, I think it was first thought of in 1946, about 10 years before the series started (P&L was around late 36-early 37).

This is similair to the idea in "Jolly Molly Christmas" Episode. Nah, I don't remember this show, but I'm glad I'm not alone with this opinion.
