"I so sorry! Will not happen again!" Mya said. Then she mounted Flowerthorn and flew off.

Amber scoffed as she watched the other teen and her giant pet fly off. "Better not," she muttered and looked at the boy and his black wolf. Amber petted the back of her own lupin partner's head. "Let's go Dax."

The long-tooth wolf kept his ears pointeed forward and his sharp canines bared slightly as his eyes kept to the younger wolf. Amber repeated the words let's go again, and this time he turned and followed her back to the areas of the outer village.

Atlas sat up, glad no one seemed to have heard him and shook the dizziness from his head. The red Nightfury looked up just in time to see the black and purple Nightfury he was watching earlier fly through the air. He squinted at a tiny dot on her back and realized that it was the human female that had stood in front of the dragon. Atlas stuck his tongue out in disgust and stood to his feet. His wing was throbbing with pain again and he took it as a sign to not take to the skies again. He'd have to walk.

Jacob softly patted alf on the head. "come on boy Tocar is probaly wondering here dinner is." Alf nodded and followed his master up the hill towards there cave.

Finally, the Viking and wolf duo made it back to their part of the village. Amber's house was on the outskirts of Berk. It was very close to the woods, but she had no problem with that; Dax was always on alert and the wolf would be darned if he let anything happen to her. As soon as they reached the front door, Dax walked off to the side and curled up into a ball by the entrance. This was where he always slept since Amber forbade him to be inside...only when it rained did she make an exception.
The blond teenager walked into the small wooden house and immediately flopped onto her bed. It was made out of a scratchy hay mattress, but she wasn't complaining. Blue eyes darted to the window and Amber say that it was getting late. Slowly, she rose and lit a few candles around her bed and lied back on it. Amber didn't bother changing into her sleepwear and soon drifted off to sleep.

A small, slender, blue-black dragon slid curiously around the corner of a building, skulking around the edge of the village. The female was small and young, the equivalent of a toddler. She was a young Night Fury, with little tufts of fur here and there. Her eyes were large and blue, and gleaming with curiosity. The female rumbled a bit in frustration, the noise high-pitched.

A 13-year-old red-head leaned against her home, bright, curly hair cut short, at her jaw. Her green eyes watched people pass, half-interested. She sighed, glancing up at the cloudy sky.

Dax, who was battling to keep on the edge of sleep and reality, felt his ears instantly flick backwards in response to a high-pitched noise. The pale yellow eyes opened groggily and the lupine creature slowly rose to his feet and sulked around Amber's house. A cool breeze blew from the north, bringing with it the scent of a young female dragon. Old instincts rose up again and he lifted his lip to reveal two long canines. His gray-brown fur bristled, but he halted in his movements; the wind brought down the scent of another female. Only this one was a human, but Dax had never seen-or smelt-her before. The wolf rose back up into an alert position, ears erect, lips down, eyes with a curious glint in them. Dax let his long tail slowly swish back and forth like a feline, like he was waiting on something unexpected yo happen.

Atlas' journey brought him to the outskirts of Berk. As much as he hated to be caught by the Vikings there, it was still a 50/50 chance, though, the large Nightfury knew that to get to his cliff-side home in the mountains, Berk was the only shortcut at the time. He was still reduced to walking, so he took a deep breath and slowly entered the dark village.

The dragon, Laru, froze, head jolting upwards as she caught scent of the canine. She began trembling slightly, but stayed calm as she turned, hesitantly picking her way towards Dax. She poked her small, broad head from a bush and spotted him, rumbling in surprise and curiosity. What a strange dragon he must be!

The girl, Raiya, stood with a bored sigh, lazily ambling through the village, going nowhere. She spotted a stone and began kicking it as she went. After a few long moments, she gave it a hard kick, sending it flying towards Atlas, though she hadn't spotted him yet.

The stone hit the red dragon's scaled ribs and cause him to jump in surprise. He unfurled his wings, giving a wince of pain as he realized that Ashling's wraps still remained on his damaged one. The Nightfury slowly lowered himself back onto all fours and felt his brow furrow. Someone had been watching him trek through the village! This was not good, especially since he knew a few dragon hunters still remained around her. Atlas' mind whirled as he quickly thought about what to do next.

Dax spotted the young dragon and huffed. Amber was not here to give him the order to attack, but...this creature seemed so small. He already knew that small dragons were just as deadly and dangerous as the larger ones, but this blue one resembled a Nightfury. The wolf guessed that she was just a baby and inched closer to her bush. Normally, he wouldn't have dared do such a thing but curiosity had gotten the better of him. Again.

Laru rumbled once more, blue eyes curious, and lacking fear. She stumbled out, tripping over her own feet and thumping into Dax with a little squeak. She pulled away quickly, enough to reveal her innocent, youthful expression. Her little tail waved wildly as she lifted a stubby little paw and batted playfully at him, purring a bit.

Raiya lifted her gaze, searching for her stone, and instantly froze in shock and fear at the sight of the dragon. Her heart leaped wildly, and every muscle urged her to flee, but she was frozen, stuck in place as fear shook her. All she could do was stare at the dragon, and think to herself that this would be her last moment.

alf who had also caught the dragons scent came running around a corner though when he got sight of a young dragon pawwing playfully at dax he nearly fell over with laughter "looks like you have a fan dax!"

As Alf arrived, Laru jumped, whipping around with a frightened growl, and leaped behind Dax, hiding behind him.

Dax tilted his head to the side at the sight of the young one. Unfortunately for the warrior, the darn thing was adorable! He couldn't take his eyes off the Nightfury's little glinting eyes as she wagged her tail back and forth like that of a puppy inviting one to play. It almost made him sad that he had spent most of his life slaying the creatures she would grow up to be...then a sudden howl of laughter caught his attention. Dax's face was replaced by a scowl and he turned to see that same black wolf from earlier today laughing at him. Looks like you have a fan, Dax! The dire wolf bared his teeth. "No," he barked. He didn't flinch when he felt the young dragon slide beneath him, her scaly hide brushing against his legs. Placing himself in a protective stance, he asked, "How do you know my name, pup?"

"my hunters talked about you says that you are one of the best hunter dogs though no idea you where so playful."

"Dog?!" Dax spat, but never moved from his spot. The Dire longed to get into this new guy's face and explain, but he stayed put in order to keep the Nightfury protected. "Listen, Pup, I'm no dog. I'm a wolf like you. Anyone could see that," he growled out.

Laru whimpered slightly, pressing against Dax, sensing his aggression. She clung to his leg, and bared little pearly white teeth at Alf.
