Renu smiled as he saw the large rock pointing towards the sky like it was meant to. He wondered if his mother was still there or if his step father was even around. He then stopped when he caught a strange yet familiar scent. He was unsure if he known or not" Asali..i smell something." He said moving all away from the area they were in and noticed a bird flying over before flying off but before the bird could fly Renu had manage to catch a glimpse" I'd recognize that quick scared bird anywhere" He said chuckling a little" It.. its Zazu.."

Chaka and Kala headed in the direction that Zazu had indicated, rogues were a common occurqnce in the Pridelands but an air of caution was always advised. Unfortunately, an air of caution to Chaka meant charging in and angrily demanding what the rogue was doing and why they were here.

Which was exactly what Chaka intended to do when he spotted the dark furred male and golden female nearby. Kala peered at them, her emerald eyes squinting for a better look. The female looked familiar but she couldn't quite tell from the distance.

"Chaka, I think--"

She didn't get to finish her sentence as Chaka charge up the hill with a loud roar. Kala rolled her eyes and was hot on her brother's heels.

Renu's ears perked up to Asali's voice and looked back to see a large brown lion quickly charging at them. Renu squinted his eyes and growled. He wasn't a fan of Kovu or at least that is who he thought it was. He snarled stepping in front of Asali to protect her.

Renu let out a loud roar telling him to back off. He growled out" I am here to see The Queen Kovu where is she!?" He snarled out not realizing it was Chaka.

Chaka halted a few steps away from Renu and Asali, he was too concerned with Renu to even notice Asali. The dark lion growled, his lips curling up to reveal his white dagger-like teeth.

"I'm not Kovu, and that's King Kovu to you, I'm Prince Chaka and you are not going anywhere near Priderock until you prove to me you aren't a threat."

Kala arrived on the scene soon after her brother stopped speaking. Her emerald eyes jumpped from Chaka to Renu and then to Asali. She squnited, she recognized her...then it hit.

"Asali?" Kala asked, taking a cautious step forward with her eyes on Renu "Is that you?"

Renu looked over at Asali and back towards the lioness who she had called Kala. He then growled and looked back at Chaka" I am here to see my mother lion and i will not take no for an answer.." He growled out Chaka. He huffed and stepped up a little closer towards Chaka" I wish to see Queen Kiara.." He said slightly annoyed with the lion who would not let him pass.

A smile spread on Kala's muzzle, she gave Renu another glance as the male continued to growl at Chaka, and said:

"It's good to see you, Asali, your mother and sister have been worried sick about you."

Chaka stood his ground against Renu, his red-brown eyes narrowed.

"I don't like what you're implying about my mother, rogue, and I suggest you leave these lands before I make you." Chaka's fur bristled "The only cubs Queen Kiara had were me and my sister's Princesses Kala and Jia."

Renu was far to busy glaring at Chaka to really notice what Asali was speaking of, He snarled his claws exstending out of his paws" I assure you lion that i am indeed her son, if you do not believe me that is your problem." He said growling at Chaka.

He hunched his shoulders back slightly" Now im not going to ask again i wish to speak to my mother and if you don't let me pass i will have to go myself" He said glaring at Chaka from where he was standing he got a good view of pride rock" Now i will not ask again I want to see my mother queen Kiara now, just because you don't believe it doesn't mean im going to go away she is my mother and i have a right to see her"

Asali was standing on Renu's left side, slightly behind him and had her eyes set on Kala who had talked to her, but then turned her head towards Renu, as she was fearing there might be a conflict soon between him and Chaka.

"Stop it, both of you" she then snarled, as she stepped between the two males.

(Sorry if it wasn't my turn, just thought I'd reply so this rp won't die )

(Its okay if you want you could pm Nama and tell her its her turn sometimes she forgets or gets distracted with other things.)

Chaka gave a low growl at Renu, he did not like what this lion was saying. The only lion that Kiara ever had cubs with was their father, Kovu. Chaka moved forward, intent on hitting Renu but suddenly Asali was between them telling them to stop and was soon followed by Kala.

Chaka backed down, he would never hit a lioness, only cowards did that. The prince gave Renu a withering glare however.

Kala turned to look at Renu, her expression as impassive as she could make it. She didn't like the thought of her mother having another mate but she wasn't going to fly off the handle about it either.

"I'm sorry for my brother, he can be an idiot sometimes." This earned a snort from Chaka "You are welcome to see Queen Kiara, and I'm Kala...your half-sister I suppose."

Renu stopped growling when Asali moved in front of him. He had no intention of giving up to see his mother regardless of what prince Chaka had said.

He listened carefully to Kala and nodded" Thank you, I'm glad at least one of you is being cooperative with me" He said glaring back over at Chaka. He soon calmed down a little and smiled at Kala" Thank you.. I'm sure she will be happy to see me" He said moving forward" I am looking forward to seeing her as well" He looked at Asali" Come on Asali.. Since these guys know you already I am now certain my mother will be proud of me"

Asali stepped on Renu's side, and gave a warning glare to Chaka that if he'd touch him, she would make him regret it. Now, when Kala stepped in and spoke, and after Renu had told her to come on, she began to smile, and walked onwards. She gave Renu a warm smile, and then took a few careful, honourful steps closer to Kala, still keeping an eye on Chaka, just in case he would have some ideas, or would try to stop them from getting to queen Kiara.

"Excuse me, princess Kala, but could you tell me where I could find my mother and sister?" she then asked, with a respectful and slightly frightened tone in her voice.
