Did you know that The Lion King was orginally going to be called: King Of The Jungle. And that Simba was going to be played by a dude called Meryl Streep. I's rather have Matthew Brodrick than
that geezer. Wouldn't you. Of course you would... right?

hehe. Never changed the name it was suppost to be called lion king from the start.

Wrong. It WAS called "King of the Jungle" before it was title The Lion King. It's on the 1995 Laserdisc release. The "King of the Jungle" was the version wherein they still had Mheetu in the story. Mheetu was cut out soon after this and some time later apparently they changed the title when realized that lions don't live in the jungle...

Also, king of the jungle was realesed in china, once they made a few changes, or so I'm told.

Meryl Streep is a woman. Most have seen her as the magazine boss in The Devil Wears Prada. She was supposed to play child Simba, as a lot of female's play the rolls of male children in animation. Dunno the truth in it, all I've heard is runours.

Jonathan Taylor Thomas did a great job voicing the young Simba. He brought, I don't know, life to the character. Least, I think so, heh, heh XD

I definitely prefer TLK to KOTJ.
Really, Meryl Streep is a girl! WHOA! A girl playing young Simba, weird, but I guess creative.

Meryl Streep is a female. She is mainly known for acting in some films such as Mammia Mia, Devil Wears Prada, and Julie and Julia. I believe she was going to voice young Simba, not adult. It would be kinda cool to have Meryl voice young Simba, but I prefer Jonathan Taylor Thomas more as a voice actor for Young Simba.
