There is a type of personality classification which uses four different categories, those being: Introvert or extrovert (I/E) INtuitive or sensing (N/S) Feeling or thinking (F/T) Judging or perceiving (J/P) You can take a short quiz here to find out what your personality type is. And from there you can see an in-depth analysis of your personality type here. I'm an INFJ. Curious to know what others are, cause mine fits me so well it's scary ._.)

I am an INFP Idealist! Whoa, Moki, you're right. This quiz really does work, haha. They summed me up better than I could ever do; it's amazing! Not really sure what else to say, but if you want to know me, read that description and you'll know exactly who I am! Here's the short description: Quiet, reflective, and idealistic. Interested in serving humanity. Well-developed value system, which they strive to live in accordance with. Extremely loyal. Adaptable and laid-back unless a strongly-held value is threatened. Usually talented writers. Mentally quick, and able to see possibilities. Interested in understanding and helping people. This really hit the spot, especially in my career choice. I am currently a Zoo and Conservation (Bachelor of Arts) Major - since my passion is animals and the environment - with a English Creative Writing Minor - since I enjoy understanding people and am apparently a talented writer and also enjoy putting my values into my writing as well. Other than that, I am very aware that I am a good and patient listener and have only recently discovered that I am a bit controlling in school projects (I never cared very much in high school but in college I want to get 100% on everything). And it's funny that they mention mediators since I am often caught in the middle of friends' arguments and have to help bring them back together. Wow, this quiz is scarily accurate. EDIT:// Because I'm curious and love investigating theories, I looked through my opposite personality (ESTJ - The Guardian) and found that it summed up qualities that I am (only recently) usually attracted to in a person. Practical, athletic, organized, loyal, hard-working, take-charge attitude, honet, straight-forward, and even being easily stressed and quick to frustation. Someone looking for security and peacefulness, which I only just recently decided is what I need instead of a risk-taking, live-on-the-edge, rebellious guy who I've always had a thing for. Just an interesting little find because, ya know, opposite attract and all that jazz. For all you taken folk, I'd personality like to know how you and your significant other match up with this test. (...realizing I'm expressing my interest in understanding people and considering psychology for just a moment...nah, I like writing too )

This was really interesting, though I did find that a few of the questions had answers that both fit how I would solve/answer the issue/question.
In the end though, the result fit. INFJ for me too. Since it hasn't been posted yet (the info about it) I'll do that.
The Protector
You live your life with integrity, originality, vision, and creativity. Independent and stubborn, you rarely stray from your vision - no matter what it is. You are an excellent listener with almost infinite patience. You have complex feelings, and you take great care to express them.
In love, you see relationships as an opportunity to connect and grow. You enjoy relationships when they are improving and changing. You can't stand stagnation.
At work, you stay motivated and happy... as long as you are working toward a dream you support. You would make a great photographer, alternative medicine guru, or teacher.
How you see yourself: Hardworking, ethical, and helpful
When other people don't get you, they see you as: Manipulative, weak, and unstable

I'm glad you posted this, Moki! \o/ Personality types and determining which person is which type is something that interests me quite a bit. I already know my type, quite well: ISFJ. The Nurturer. I know I always try to see more of the good than the bad in people. I'm so sensitive if someone is making me uncomfortable. I'm not really a touchy-feely person. I'm also very responsible when it comes to doing chores right, and running my bookstore business. I honestly do have a hard time saying no to people sometimes. I often don't like confrontations--because I dislike being mean to people. I really do. During those times I'm assertive and firm if I detect a serious problem with the other person, and stand my ground so I won't be walked over by people or being taken for granted. I try to be polite and less mean, even if I can't get along with the person well. Huh, and when I read about INFP, sometimes I see parts of myself on there too. I'm often laid back, and at times I'm such a perfectionist when it comes to being creative.

@Rose: Oh wow, we're very similar haha! It's funny cause I made my dad take it and he got the opposite personality type from me (ESTP), and it fit him to a T!
@Draco: Cool! Somehow I imagine that although INFJs are only 1% of the population, I'll find many on this site haha.
@Mari: Yes, I find it super interesting. Dunno why. I've always loved taking personality quiz things, so I guess this is like the ultimate test xD

Maybe because you learn more about yourself and people you know with them? The more you discover about yourself, the better to know how somebody else's personality clashes with yours--either positively or negatively.

INTJThe Scientist You have a head for ideas - and you are good at improving systems. Logical and strategic, you prefer for everything in your life to be organized. You tend to be a bit skeptical. You're both critical of yourself and of others. Independent and stubborn, you tend to only befriend those who are a lot like you. In love, you are always striving to improve your relationship. You have strong ideas of what love should be like. At work, you excel in figuring out difficult tasks. People think of you as "the brain." You would make an excellent scientist, engineer, or programmer. How you see yourself: Reasonable, knowledgeable, and competent When other people don't get you, they see you as: Aloof, controlling, and insensitive
I quite agree with this, especially when going further in-depth. c:

Woah I also got 'The Protector'. Didn't expect that at all. It sounded like such an important and noble title... *reads description* ...DANG that really is me. o-o
Lol, I find it hard to believe this is the most rare type considering how many of us have gotten that result.

An interesting test...though, like most of these, there were a few questions which tended to draw contradictions to others (not unlike the 30-page personality questions often appearing with online employment applications which are meant to uncover patterns or test for one's attention span). Sometimes it seemed, during this test, like it was best to answer one question, which may have been vaguely similar to another, in a way which contradicted the other question because it seemed to fit better to me. I am sure most people taking the test encountered that same issue. However, I was rated as an "ENFJ", which is not really surprising, given my generation and also my conservative, meticulous and logical point of view on most things. http://www.blogthings.com/whatsyourpersonalitytypequiz/results/?result=ENFJAnd, given the last statement on the ENFJ page, I am not surprised at all. That happens HERE occasionally, given that those who have more impulsive and emotional personalities find themselves clashing with me. lol Occasionally. However, the description in the results fits for the most part (though in romantic relationships, "jealousy" does not really fit me. If a relationship became troublesome for me (which really hasn't happened much in my relationships over the years), I would more likely be withdrawn and broody actually.
