Well, since the last topic about this was made back in 2008, I figured it was alright to start a new one. What is your biggest pet peeve? Mine most likely has to be... people coughing too much. I know it sounds strange, but it annoys the living crud out of me when I'm near or around anyone coughing non-stop. Especially when they make sure it's as loud as possible, are making it dramatic, or are not bothering to cover their mouths. I also hate it when babies cry without stopping and the parents don't do anything about it, or when I have my headphones in my ears and my parents seem to talk the most to me when I have them on and go silent when I don't.

So pretty much, mine have to do with sound. xD
What are yours?

Ugh yes, I hate when people cough and cough and cough. It drives me crazy! My dad did that the other day...He decided to drink a glass of juice quickly. X_X Crying babies are annoying too. I can understand it can be difficult to quiet them down, but still, it's annoying when you can hear them on the other side of the store.

1. People who walk reaaaaaly slowly. Makes me wish there was a way to make a song play when this happens. If there was I would put on slow ride.

2. When people block the isle with a cart. Or what I like to call a reunion. It's when they find a friend or something, and chit chat in a stupid location. I find that these tend to happen in the parking lot, or in the entry way by the doors. Are the rest of us people invisible?

3. people who talk loudly on the phone in public.

4. People who zip through parking lots. We nearly lost a mirror due to that. -__- Some stupid person came zipping in and parked quickly. The vehicle in front of them was struck. No bad damage was done, but it was enough to push it back. The worst part was they didn't care. They just went on their way. When they left there was a dent in the vehicle in front of them.

5. People who CAN'T capitalize I. For whatever reason, of all the grammar mistakes, this one annoys me the most! Or when someone can't spell a word right that's in front of their face.

6. SMS. You have a keyboard in front of you, USE IT to its full advantage.

7. When my dad says up till 3:00AM watching westerns that involves shooting. My house is very small, and the TV is always very loud. Most people are trying to sleep, or at least would like it quiet at that time of morning.

Oh my gosh, the people show walk super slow KILLS me. I hate it when people do that. And that thing with people having a reunion in the middle of an isle. I feel like pushing people like these away and going, "EXCUSE ME, I HAVE SOMEWHERE TO GO."
Lol. Most of the ones you said annoy me as well. xD

My mom will be driving along in the parking lot stuck behind people taking their sweet time. -__- If they're old people, that's okay. But when it's the YOUNG people walking at the speed of grandma and grandpa, that's irritating. Even in a store is annoying.

I have a lot of them - LOL.

- Ignorant people. I don't know why, but I cannot stand to even be around an ignorant person. They bother me to no end.

- People who drive WAY to slow, even the old people. I'm sorry, but if you cannot go the speed limit you shouldn't be driving.

- People who walk to slow/groups of people who take up the whole walkway all the way across. It's rude. Don't do it.

- People who chew with their mouths open. Ugh. It's disgusting. Don't do it in public.

- People who talk loudly while on the phone in public. I don't care how interesting your conversation is, I don't want to hear it.

- Crying babies, especially when the parents just ignore it. I came to a restaurant to eat, not to listen to your thing cry. Be a parent and shut it up!

- People who text/talk on a cell in a movie theater. Did you seriously just pay 10$ to be rude to everyone around you?

- People who block the isle in a store. If you run into someone you haven't seen in a while, good for you. But it doesn't give you the right to block everyone else. Move it.

- People who don't cover their mouths when they cough. I don't want to get sick cause you're stupid and/or lazy, kthanx.

- People who are too lazy to use proper grammar/use spell check. It's not hard, you just have to think a little. I know it may seem scary, but it's not and it might make you look a little on the smart side.

... I think people in general would be safe to say. Haha.

^ That. My God, Tibb...it's like the two of us are gelling or something. Most of those are most of my issues too!

This is one of the few I can think of right now:

When people wear Jackets with shorts.

I mean, honestly, HOW are your arms cold and your legs aren't?

Oh and little OCD things, like wanting things to be in a perfect order.
My Youth Pastor painted a white spot on our wall in the Youth room fr the projector to project onto, and it drives me MAD, because he painted it crooked...

1) Trolls

2) People making promises they know--and everyone else knows--they can't keep. Do I fall under that category myself? Yup, but don't think I like it one bit.

3) News media making a big deal out of small things. Someone knelt during a football game? How is that NOT okay? Some woman is being accused of killing her kid? Why make a big deal about that when there are numerous cases of that EVERY MONTH?

Doom dooom dooom! Rant time!
"Save the wolves!" videos on Youtube - They are nothing more than a stupid slideshow with tons of stolen sparkledog artwork with no actual reference about animal rescue.

People who just can't handle that someone can think up similar character design and yell that they stole their ideas. - Especially on characters with simple design. No, really, there are limits of colours and markings you can add to your character in reasonable levels :/

People who don't read image/video descriptions then ask stupid questions that been answered thousand times before - Like "What's the song?" or "Can I use?". You have everything CLEARLY written under your nose, just bother a little to LOOK at this information before those repetative questions!

People who think they can do what they want because of their disorders - Hemophilia... ADD... being a different race/religion... Just because you have some disorders/you are diferent it doesn't mean you can be rude to everyone and expect that they will never harm you because of this!

Unbelievable commission prices - I know your arts are really good, but holy... just a little stupid headshot lineart for 55$? You're soo ovverrating yourself... I hate when people want that much money for their works. Of course you have to buy media and bla bla bla. But seriously? Do people need the best paper and pencils to make it? You can buy block of white paper for 1$ and pencil for 0,10$. It's enough! The rest is your art! I don't know how about other people, but my Photoshop is not eating my money everytime I work in it... So why those unbelievable prices for digital artwork?!

People calling themselves with Japanese honorifics
"Hello I'm XXX-sama" "Oh hi I'm YYY-san"
I won't be calling people younger or the same age as me by miss/mister(san) and definitely none of these people is my master(sama). Honorifics are to be used by other people for you, not by you to describe yourself. Oh, and stop using Japanese honorifics even more if you are not even Asian...

People who can't draw character's markings properly
Are they blind or what? Even if you don't remember how the character looked, you can always seach for a reference instead of posting drawings/images with characters that look nothing like characters you say they are. *post an image with grey-white dog* "Hey look, it's Balto!"

When little kids mess with your stuff and parents are completely careless about it.
"It's just a kid, don't be so sad" - That's what they always say. Do you even realize how much this stuff means for me?! I don't care if it's just a kid!



I got many more of them, but I won't be bombarding AS with all my rants... at one time ...

Oh yes, and I forgot to mention poorly made YouTube tutorials annoy me. Ones where they put music on it and no voice. Those are often times hard to follow as they just rush it. And the music of choice is often times horrible. I also hate notepad ones. These people tend to have the worst grammar skills, and the tutorial can't be followed very well. Ones with notes are okay as long as they're done well, but I prefer voice tutorials overall.

To add to this one, it annoys me even more when people who watch too much anime think they suddenly know japanese! Screaming 'yaoi fangirls' are also like an icepick to my eardrums. Makes animeconventions a little less enjoyable too if you're stuck in line with them for several hours.

Things of my own to add that drive me insane:

> People who use DOORWAYS as a place to stop and chat. Isles and hallways I can get around, but it's hard to ask someone nicely to STOP BEING STUPID and move out the doorway. Seriously. Your feet. Move them, or loose them.

> Having to repeat myself more than 2 or 3 times.

> Certain noises. Like 545654 groups of people talking loudly at once.

> (this one's the worst) People talking while I'm trying to watch a favorite show!! I know TV isn't everything, but the rudeness and lack of care for my feelings when talking about stupid stuff while I'm trying to watch one of my FEW shows actually on tv, annoys and just ticks me off to no end!


I'm sure there's many more, but these are the most annoying of my pet peeves. ...that I can think of for now.

Yes, and YES. Both happen frequently with my parents. Then they get mad when I'm annoyed at them because they have faulty hearing. Or my dad anyways. As for the second one, YES YES YES. My own parents who know I'm obsessed with certain shows (aka Vampire Diaries, Supernatural...) DON'T STOP TALKING when I watch it. Heck, my mom even comes in the room to start blow drying her freaking hair. -____-



1) That peeves me of like no one even knows. -___- There's NO excuse. If you can talk for yourself and think properly, then who gives a flip what disorder you have?

Every single one of these is speaking my language. And the slow group walking people taking the whole isle happens to me ALL THE FRIGGIN TIME. It annoys the living heck out of me, and it doesn't help that half the time it happens at school where I'm stick 8 hours a day with 1/3 the class being ignorant people.

The one about people covering the isle cause they haven't talked in a while happened in school too this past Friday. School ended, I got my books, headed to my parent's car where I wanted to go home because it was Friday, the halls are completely congested on one side, and on the other is a gap. Some stupid idiot of a girl comes up and grabs the girl in front of me, takes up that gap, talks to her for at least ten minutes while they see me standing there impatiently, and then they go away when a new stream of people comes to fill the gap. -___-

This has to be one of my top pet peeves. People taking up space when you want to get somewhere, walking too slow and blocking any way to go past them, and ignorant people. Roll all three into one and you have a really peeved off me.

Nagging

I HATE this. I'm sure this can apply to anyone, but I dislike being nagged. My aunt for example. She gave me a bunch of her painting supplies. Now she keeps asking me if I've painted anything yet. I just hate people being up in my face. This also reminds me of my dad lately. For awhile I didn't have vent cover, so he gets me one. Then he kept asking me if I installed it yet. I finally did that today, but I can't count how many times I had to explain that I couldn't because my room needed to be cleaned first. I kept wondering why it was such a big deal anyway xD He thought I was going to need help too. LOL Why should it take more than one person to put a vent in a hole?

Oh lord. My dad nags me ALL DAY LONG. It's like he dreams of telling me what to do the next day. I feel your pain, Mighty.
Here's one of my HUGE ones:

People pretending to be something they are not. In particular, I've been able to spot a lot of people wearing color contacts lately, and maybe its just me, but it peeves me off that people can look like something they weren't born with naturally and get away with it. Or act like it either. I used to have a friend who was all normal with me but then in public she'd act like I was some stranger and as if she were popular. But, back to the eye thing... I just can't see why people don't love the person they are. What's so bad about being you? You were born unique for a reason. I find it dumb of people to taint their image so that they'll look or act different when they're the same person no matter what anyways. This is one of my biggest and worst pet peeves, as I feel like slapping the sense back into anyone whom I notice this in.
