On doing some websurfing, my sister Pawface and I discovered a series of German Bambi cassette tapes.

If you understand German (which I don't, more's the pity ), you can listen to the cassettes on YouTube (links under each cassette title).

Bambi 01 - Falina in der Falle (Faline in the Trap)

in the Textes is a little Error: Bam is Bambis Daughter. Bino is his Son. The Series was made in 1992 and 1993. I found those MC's in 2005 in a Online Shop and I loved them so much! But they disappeared sometimes, and i've never found them again. They are propably won from someone other a Dump Truck Travel. I have a incomplete list of the Voice Actors. The Roles and names are Saved in my mind since Years :

Some Voice Actors are Very popular in the German language. In Modern Mercedes Benz Cars, Gabriele Libbach (Falina Ep 3-4) is the Female Voice of the Navigation - Software of all Models from 2009 up to today. Marek Erhardt (Bambi Ep 3-4) is one of the Standard Voice Actors for Johnny Depp, Michael Harck (Thumper) gaves Herman Toothrot in the Game Monkey Island 4 his German Voice.
Gerd Hinze (Bruno) gaves Cpt. Brian Engle in Langoliers his German Voice. Maybe some people here want to see one of this Voice Actors. Marek Erhardt was guest in the Cooking -Show Lafer Lichter Lecker:

Hm, if the audiobooks were written as the movie continuation, does that mean Bino and Bam are official names for Bambi's fawns in the movie? xD

Propably. I like the Names of the Audiobooks more than the original names Geno and Gurri. Geno and Gurris names sounds so genderless. I didn't know, who is the Boy and who the Girl

I think these names sound rather silly.

Anyway, I've seen there are new audiobook characters added and they have no pictures. I could make you pictures like ones for Spirit Source and Watership Down Source. (eaxample - /watershi ... 52749.html /spirit/e ... 48852.html )

Oh, those are actually characters featured inthe Disney Dell Comic ''Bambi's Children''. I heard that pictures are planned to be given to the characters, once some usable comic pics are found.
