Sapphire knew that it was really rare that you found doughnuts lying around, because humans loved those things and usually at the whole thing. Sapphire watched him go before she started chewing her bone again.

A few feet from her, Dexter rose up on his hind legs and knocked a trash can over. The object landed on its side with a loud CRASH! before the black puppy began scavenging through its spilled cantonments.

Sapphire got up and went over to help Dexter.

"Hey," Dexter said from inside the can. "You find anything yet?"

"Not yet," Sapphire replied as she poked around the front of the can.

"Oh, wait!" Dexter exclaimed and quickly back out of the can. "I found something!"

Iggy stopped gnawing on the bone and lied her head down on her paws. Lazily she watched Sapphire and Dexter dig through the trash can they tipped over.

. "What is it?" Sapphire asked as she backed out of the can.

Dexter smiled at Sapphire while holding a very large steak bone. "Something better than a doughnut!"

Sapphires eyes widened. It was huge. "Score!" She praised.

Dexter smiled and trotted around showing off his prize.

T.P finished his bone, leaving only a small part of it left. He looked up and saw Dexter and said, "Woo! Great find, Kid!"

Robbie's mouth started watering as he gazed at the prize Dexter was holding.

Iggy saw Robbie and growled a little bit. Don't even think about taking that from him she thought.

As if Robbie could read Iggys thought he sat back down again and focused on his bone.

Iggy smirked at her accomplishment.

Dexter stopped showing off and went back to Sapphire, placing his bone down in front of her. The young dog blushed and backed a way a little. "Uh...i-it's for you," he said quietly.
