Kiara looked down at the little tan bundle of fur. Raja purred in her paws, his fur was tan, not as dark as Kovu's but not as light as Kiara's. His eyes were emerald green like Kovu's, but he had his mothers nose. "My Raja." Kiara purred at her newborn cub. The name rolled off her tongue. Kovu had chosen it because it mean't "Prince" in Swahili. "My prince." Kiara thought. What a good one he would make.
"Kiara?" Nala's voice echoed through the cave. She trotted up to her daughter. "How's Raja?" She asked smiling down at the cub. He pawed the air.
"He's fine, tired, but fine." Kiara murmured. Nala nodded, "Mama, do you think that Daddy will approve of him?" She asked worrily.
"Ask him yourself." Simba said entering the cave. Kiara gasped, embarrassed. "Of course I approve of him Kiara!" Simba said nodding. "He is my grandson." He smiled down at the cub as he snuggled close to Kiara.
Kiara nodded. "Time for lunch! Um, do you mind leaving us... alone?" She asked cautiously. Simba widened his eyes.
"Of course!" He said padding out of the cave. Nala laughed and followed him. Kiara chuckled and rolled the furry ball to her warm white stomach. He began suckling. She purred down at him. As his eyes closed shut she nuzzled him.
"How's the little guy doing?" Kovu asked as he entered the cave mouth. Kiara shushed him up. He nodded seeing his son asleep. "Big day?" He asked looking into Kiara's brown eyes. She nodded, he nuzzled her affectionatly. Then he curled up next to her. Kiara lay her head down next to Kovu's and closed her eyes. Everything was in perfect order. She thought listening to Raja's breathing. Then letting her mind wander she slipped into a well needed rest.
The sun rays shined down on Kiara's head. She opened her eyes to a shaft of light coming through the cracks in the cave ceiling. She pawed around for where Raja would have been. But as she felt the space there was no sleeping cub. She started to panic. Her heart quickened. "RAJA!" She cryed out. "RAJA, RAJA WHERE ARE YOU!?" She yelled.
"Kiara! Kiara he's right here!" Kovu yelled as he entered the cave with Raja in his mouth. Kiara let out her breath. The cub rolled around on the floor with a smiled on his face. "He was outside with me enjoying the sun." Kovu said sheepishly. Kiara smiled.
"Next time wake me up." She murmured nuzzling Raja. Kovu nodded and rolled the cub on his side. Raja shakily lifted his left front leg. Then his right front leg until he was sitting upright. Kiara stared down at the cub, he laughed at his new found ability. Kovu sat like Raja and prompted Kiara to do the same. As the whole family sat in a triangle Raja lifted his left back leg, then his right. He stood for a second then dropped in a pile on the stone floor. Kiara ran to comfort the frustrated Raja. He kicked her away wanting to do it alone. She sat back on her heels letting him find out for himself that his legs were not strong enough yet. As he tried and tried he grunted more and more. Finally he gave up and rolled over on his back. Kiara giggled and Kovu chuckled, Kiara walked slowly up to Raja and picked him up between her jaws. Then she layed down outside of the cave letting him see the world. He giggled as the birds chirped down at the new prince. Finally he fell asleep and Kovu and Kiara walked into the cave. Raja in Kovu's mouth. As the family snuggled down into a circle in the back of the cave. Simba and Nala entered and lay in the center. Finally everyone was in the cave and fast asleep.

1 Year Later.
Raja ran out of the cave looking down at the grasslands. He giggled at the mouse who ran in between rocks. "Where do you thing your going?" Kiara asked eyeing her son.
"Please can I go play mother?" He whined. She looked at him then back at Kovu, who nodded, she smiled down at him and nodded. He gasped and romped down into the savanna. The mouse ran into the grass. Raja chased and pawed at his new toy. Finally he caught the squeeking creature.
"RAJA! Put the mouse down!" Came a familiar voice. Adia ran up to him, scowling though she was his best friend the little cream colored cub got annoying sometimes. He rolled his eyes, She grabbed the mouse out of his claws and let it run out of site. "Why do you want to hurt a poor creature, that could never defend itself?! She asked frowning.
"Oh come on Adia, it's a mouse. Mice are meat, and we eat meat. Its the circle of lift. He said rolling his eyes. She giggled and rolled her eyes.
"First it's the circle of LIFE. Second I don't care if a fly is meat. It's a helpless creature. Now if it was a antelope then thats reasonable." She said matter-of-factly. He shugged.
"Fine if I can't chase something, then you chase me!" Raja said smacking Adia on the leg. He ran out into the grass. She gasped and tumbled after him. He ran and ran, then looking over his shoulder he saw that Adia had slowed down and then stopped. "Wimp." He said under his breath. But before he would look back around he ran right into something.
"Hey! Watch it buddy!" Raja growled. Turning his head he stared right into the face of a lioness. Two cubs whimpered behind her. He looked up, and saw the face of an outlander.
"Why, hello there." She said smoothly. "Who do I have the pleasure of meeting?" She asked. Raja gulped. He shook his head not able to speak. "You don't want to tell me your name?" The stange lion purred.
"Ra...Raja." Raja squeeked. The lioness's eyes widened. Her claw raked the dirt leaving deep gashes in the earth. She growled deep in her throat. Raja lowered himself to the ground.
"Kovu and Kiara's son?!" She growled. Raja nodded. He looked into the dark eyes of the outlander. Her mouth curved down into a frown. The two cubs behind her growled. "A little far from home are we? She asked menacingly. Raja shook with fear. He wished his father was here to save him. The lioness lowered her head and asked, "Do you know who I am?" Raja shook his head. "I am Zira's first and only daughter. My name is Vitani." She said sweetly. Raja gasped, "Never go near the outlands Raja, Vitani is there and she is looking for blood." Raja remembered his parents warning him. Just as Raja thought it would be too late, a roar came from behind him. Raja screamed and Vitani roared, Raja wipped his head around to see the face of his father, Kovu, Kiara was behind him with grandma Nala and grandpa Simba. They all were baring their teeth and looking down at Raja then up at Vitani. Kovu grabbed Raja by the neck.
"What are you doing here?! He asked angrily staring at Vitani. She smiled sweetly.
"Meeting my nephew, Brother. Sense you never got around to introducing us, I decided it was time to meet!" She said evily. Kovu frowned. He pushed Raja towards Kiara who picked him up in her mouth. Simba shook his head at his grandson. "Leave Vitani. There is no use being here!" Kovu roared.
"Acually I kinda like it here. I was thinking of making a perminent move." She growled. Her cubs whimpered and whined behind her. Kovu shot them glances. "Oh, well sense I met your son, I guess you can meet mine." She growled pulling the two carmel colored cubs out from behind her. They looked frightened and were shaking. She smiled down at them. Kovu didn't spare them glances. Vitani pushed them closer. Kovu gave them both disgusted lookes. He roared and shoved the frightened cubs into the dirt next to their mother. "Leave Vitani, and don't come back!" Kovu shook with anger. Vitani laughed and turned on her heel leaving the two cubs alone. "Vitani your cubs!" Kovu roared. She turned around and sneered. Then grabbed one cub and the other followed tumbling behind her. Kovu looked down at his son. Raja lowered his head. The group left back to Pride Rock.

It was wonderful, but it reminded me of TLK2 in some parts, like Raja running off.
Who's Adia, though?

Adia is supposed to be his friend and dont worry it wont be like TLK2 just the beginning sry bout that and i fixed the Adia part so you know who she is and ya hahaha

And ok. Now that I understand, it's really good.

The way back the pride was silent. Raja conjured up excuses as to why he had wandered off. Kovu stopped not even glancing at his son. Kiara looked down at Raja. "Why were you in the outlands?!" She asked accusingly. Raja looked up at her, He lowered his head down to the dirt, staring at his paws.
"I...I got lost..." He murmured. Kiara eyed him knowing he was lying, Kovu grunted rolling his eyes.
"If you are lying to us you better tell me, because it will only get you into more trouble." Kiara said calmly. Raja looked up sheepishly.
"I was playing with Adia and ran into the outland by mistake, honest!" Raja murmured. Kiara nodded, Kovu stalked off. As they made their way up the cliff side Kovu slowed.
"You are grounded for four moons, understood?" He asked Raja. The cubs eyes widened, how could his father punish him for an accident.
"But dad it wasn't my fault!" Raja fought back. Kovu eyed him, turning he strode back to the cave mouth. "I hate you!" Raja whispered.
"What?" Kovu asked, Raja walked up to him baring his teeth. He was not going to get into trouble for something that was an accident.
"I said I HATE YOU!" He roared. Kovu walked up to his son, the cub stood proud holding his ground. Raja slashed at his father with his claws leaving gashes in his left forleg. Kovu stood surprised at his son, Raja bounded out off of Pride Rock.
"RAJA GET BACK HERE!" Kovu roared furiously. Kiara ran out of the cave.
"Kovu what happened?" She asked worrily. Kovu explained to her what Raja had done. "We have to find him, before Vitani does!" Kiara said running off the rock into the grasses. Kovu followed, Zazu flew overhead and Kovu explained what was going on.
"Master what shall I do?" The hornbeak asked. Kovu looked up at the bird.
"Tell Simba what is happening." Kovu yelled. Zazu flew off without another word. Kovu and Kiara ran deeper and deeper into the savanna.

Raja ran and ran, his heart beat like a drum agains't his chest. Finally he slowed panting, his legs ached from the run and his breath came in huffs. He walked up to a stream and drank the cool water. His mind wandered, and the tears began to come. He tilted his head sideways hoping to block off the tears. But they trickled out down his tan cheek.
"Raja?" Adia trotted up to him. He looked away ashamed hoping she hadn't seen his tears. Her cream fur shined in the moon light. "Are you ok?" She asked innocently. Adia was more of a sister then a friend. She was four years older then him, and alway knew what to say when he was sad, he shook his head.
"I can't go home." He whispered. Adia looked down at him, Raja couldn't bare looking at her. She tilted his head towards her. Her eyes beat down on him, one blue and the other green. She nodded not needing an explanation. They sat in the grass for hours it felt like, looking at the great star filled dome. Raja found the bunny and fighting lions in the sky that his parents had pointed out to him when he was younger. Adia stood, Raja stayed down. "You can go home." Raja said sadly.
"Come home when you can Raja." Adia paused looking out towards Pride Rock. "I won't tell them where you are." She whispered. Raja nodded and lay his head on the dew covered grass. Adia trotted home, Raja listened to her go until he no longer could.
A rustle broke the silence. Raja looked up alarmed, He stared into the dark tree line behind him. A twig broke close by Raja perked his ears up. He stood afraid of what was coming.
"Who's there!?" He asked. Another breaking twig, his heart gave a shudder. The hair on the back of his neck stood straight. He leaned forward squinting to see what was in the bushes. "COME OUT!" Raja roared getting more and more frighted by the minute. A growl rumbled deep in the trees. Then a burst of fur jumped out from behind the tree line. Raja screamed and was cut off as a tan paw cupped over his mouth. He scratched and bit and yelled with all his might but could make no noise.
"Far from home are we?" Vitani's cackled. Raja wiggled in her strong grasp. " Don't worry little one, I'm not going to kill you. I have people to do that for me." Vitani chuckled. She looked him in the eyes. " If you don't make noise I will let go of your mouth, understood?" She asked sweetly. Raja nodded. She let go of his mouth and picked him up in her jaws. He snarled, she trotted him over to a tree with what looked like a string attached to it. Raja eyed it carefully.
Vitani casually dropped the cub on the ground. He wobbled regaining his balance, then she stuck his foot in the trap. The loop snared his foot and he dropped in a heap losing his balance. She laughed. "Have fun with that. See you in the morning, or maybe not." She said happily. Raja hated her, and he hated himself for running away. He yelled and screamed for help but no one was around to hear him. Soon his voice became scratchy and he stopped screaming. He lay in the grass watching the sun rise on the new day. Voices woke him from his restless sleep. He peered in the distance as two figures approached him. Raja cowered. "Hey Bill, looky what we have here!" The stocky man said happily. "A lion cub!" He exclaimed.
"Well, well I wonder how much we can make off of him?" the man called Bill wondered. "Charley where do ya think his parents are?" Bill asked the tall lanky man. Charley tapped his chin and shrugged his shoulders.
"Who cares, this pile of bones will make us a killing!" Charley yawned. Bill nodded picking up Raja. The cub hissed and scratched the man, he grabbed his neck imobilizing him. Raja screamed for help but not a thing happened. He was shoved into a wood crate and carried along by both men. The little cub was scared to death, why had he run away. A rumble came and then he was banged arounded into a metal pickup bed. "Ed, we found ourselfs a cub!" Bill yelled. Raja heard the men talk happily between themself as the pickup drove down a dirt path. Raja peered out a hole in his crate watching as Pride Rock became smaller and smaller as he was taken farther and farther away.

Raja lay in the wood crate. His head bumped around as the truck hit pot holes, tears flooded his eyes and leaked down onto the wooden planks. After about an hour the truck stopped. Raja stood stiff, and smelt the air. The difference in scents was amazing. Raja went from the smell of grass and animals, to musk and smoke. His nostrils flared as the smell of human flooded his nose. "Bill come grab the cub while I explain to the man whats going on." Charleys voice rang. A second later light flooded through the crate. Raja looked up blinking to the face of Bill. The man looked at the small animal and grabbed Raja's neck. Raja cryed out, but then found that he was no where near Pride Rock. He saw what looked like a block of wooden planks. Men walked in and out of swinging doors.
"Ok lil' guy, be on your best behavior!" Bill warned. Raja stared at the strange bulky man. Charley strode out of the wooden block and smiled as he saw the cub.
"Well, Mr.Harris said he would be delighted to see the cubby!" Charley exclaimed grinning. Raja yowled and pawed at Bill hoping he would let him go. "Bring the pile of fur inside so Mr.Harris can see him." Charley said eyeing Raja. Bill swung Raja left and right carrying him into the opening of the wood planked block. Inside he saw men of all sizes. There were at least fifteen it the little room. A tall well built young man stood beside a door. He smiled as Raja and Bill approached.
"Mr.Harris! Long time, no talk!" Bill said happily as he walked up to the man. Mr.Harris smiled and looked at Raja with adoring eyes.
"This is the cub I presume?" Mr.Harris asked. Charley nodded handing Raja into Mr.Harris's awaiting arms. Raja struggled and yowled clawing the man and biting his arms.
Charley grabbed Raja hard handling him with little care. Mr.Harris looked at his shirt sleeves, now in tattered shreds, and laughed. "It's alright Charley. He is just scared." Mr.Harris chuckled. Raja was set once again into a crate. This time a metal one. He yowled and cryed clawing the doorway. The men talked for a bit then Mr.Harris handed Charley and Bill wads of something Raja could not see, then grabbed the cage and walked out of the room. Raja looked into the young man's eyes as he set him into of another truck. This time inside. Mr.Harris muttered something before starting the noisy truck. Raja lay in the cage and ignored the loud noises coming out of a black box in Mr.Harris's truck.

Kiara exhausted from searching all night dropped down in the meadow. Kovu walked up to her. "We will find him." Kovu said sadly. Kiara sighed. All night and nothing to show for it. Raja had been gone for a whole day. The whole pride was searching for him. Kiara looked into Kovu's reasuring eyes and wept. Her son was missing, and Vitani could have gotten him. Or worse, the humans could have trapped him. Kovu lay next to her nuzzling her. Simba ran up to them, worry was written all over his face.
"Adia, Raja's friend, she said she knows where he is!" Simba said. Kiara lept to her feet. Kovu ran a few feet away from them, then looked over his shoulder. Kiara ran with him to where Simba had said Adia was.
The cream cub lay in the grass with her mother. "Where is he!?" Kiara yelled. Adia cowered away from her voice. Simba whispered to the cub and she looked up with sad eyes.
"In the woods, at a clearing, next to the stream." She said slowly. Kiara nodded running full speed to where her cub was. Kovu thundered behind her.
They ran through the trees. The stream bubbled a few feet away. Kiara's heart thundered in her chest. As she broke through the last trees she stood looking frantically in the clearing. The grass lay down in little cub shaped spaces. He had been here. Then she looked over to the left to see tree branches broken. Tufts of fur lay in the grass next to the branches. A fight had taken place, or at least a struggle. Kovu strode cautiously up to the fur that lay on the ground. He sniffed it and looked up at Kiara. "Raja was here, but..." He struggled.
"BUT?!" Kiara said getting more and more worried. Kovu looked at her and looked away.
"So was... Vitani." He murmured. Kiara gasped. She broke down and lay in the grass. Her heart beat unsteadly, tears flooded out of her eyes. Her Raja had been taken, probably killed. "There's a trail leading away from the tree." Kovu said close to her ears.
Kiara stood following her mate out of the brush and into the savanna. Paw prints led to a tree with what looked to be a string with a loop in it. "A trap!" Kiara cryed. Raja's fur lay in the sting. Kovu sniffed it, and looked at her.
"Raja was here, but... there's human scent too." Kovu said tears filling his eyes. Kiara looked at him and looked out toward the horizon. Raja was gone, taken by humans to who knew where.

As Kiara trekked up the hill to Pride Rock her heart felt broken. Kovu walked behind her, tears filling his eyes. As the neared the cave Simba ran out to greet them. Nala was not far behind him. "Did you find him?" Simba asked. Kiara shook her head tears flowing freely out her eyes. Simba looked down at the ground, Nala gave a gasp and ran to embrace Kiara. Kovu didn't speak he just stood looking at his paws. Finally, Simba asked "What happened?" He whispered. Kiara explained shakily what they had found. When her story was done Nala was crying and Simba had tears running down his face. Kovu walked up to the ledge of Pride Rock and looked out into the horizon. Kiara joined him, she sat and looked into his face trying to figure out what he was thinking. But Kovu had a hard mask on to smother the fear and saddness.
"Kovu?" Kiara asked shakily. He looked at her, then back out to the savanna. "Kovu its ok." She said not believing it herself. Kovu turned to her. Anger flashed through his eyes.
"OK!? OK!? YOU THINK THIS IS...THIS IS...." His voice trailed off and he sobbed into Kiara's shoulder. They sat like that for what seemed like hours, then Kovu stood, the tears no longer came. Kiara looked at him and smiled weakly. "He's gone..." Kovu said sadly, Kiara nodded. They walked slowly up to the cave mouth, the other lionesses lay in the cave asleep. Simba and Nala walked in after Kiara and Kovu watching sadly as they lay down in the corner away from the rest of the pride. The sun had gone down and now the stars shined down into the cave leaving small traces of light.
When everyone was asleep Kiara stood quietly, unable to sleep. She walked out to the ledge of the rock and stared at the moon and stars. Tears trickled down her face as she whispered to herself,"Goodnight son..." Only one thought comforted her. If Raja was alive, he too, could see the same moon and stars. Then slowly she walked back into the cave.

Raja lay in a cage outside a brick building that night. He cried for his mother and the tears didn't stop. How could he have been so stupid. Then a door opened and Mr.Harris walked out. Raja cowered in the back of his cage. "It's alright. I won't hurt you." He murmured at the cub. Then he grabbed a small container out of his pocket. He unscrewed the can and lifted out a candy. "This is my favorite carmel. Want one?" He asked kindly. Raja looked at the man dumbfounded. Mr.Harris pushed the candy through the cage bars and slid it next to Raja. Raja sniffed the carmel and licked at it. Mr.Harris laughed, then opened the cage door and lifted the cub out. Raja didn't scratch of bit him. Mr.Harris flipped Raja on his back and craddled him in his burly arms. Raja was reminded of how his mother used to hold him like this when he was young. Slowly Raja's eyes closed and he fell asleep, feeling safe and warm in Mr.Harris's arms.
Mr.Harris carried the cub inside his house and lay him in his dogs bed. Zoe, his golden retriever whined as he set the cub down. "Zoe be nice, you can keep him warm." He whispered to the dog. Zoe walked up to her bed and turned around twice before laying down next to Raja. "Good girl." Mr.Harris said yawning. He walked down the hall and into his room for the night.
The next morning Raja woke feeling warm fur around him. "It was a dream!" He exclaimed as he nuzzled up next to the cream fur. His mother had to be laying next to him, but as he opened his eyes a black nose and two brown eyes stared at him. He screamed and jumped out of the dog bed.
"Easy sugar, easy!" A kind voice said. Raja looked back at the dog who lay in the bed. "It's alright. My name is Zoe." She said sweetly. Raja gulped, he growled showing his teeth.
"I'm Raja! What are you?!" He asked terrified. Zoe barked a laugh, then she stood stretching like a cat and walked up next to the cub.
"I'm a dog. You are in my house." She said looked down at Raja. Raja looked around and could see a room with a couch and chair, and one TV. Then turning Raja saw another room with a table and counters. The floor was wood in that room. He saw a hallway carpeted in a fuzzly brown color. Doors were on either side of the hall. One door at the end of the hall to the right was open a crack. Raja looked at Zoe. She smiled, then he walked over to a bowl and sniffed at its sides. Water bounced of the corners as he knocked at it. He lapped it up greedily. Mr.Harris walked out of the room down the hall and saw that Raja had layed down next to Zoe again. He laughed. Raja,startled, jumped up and growled. Mr.Harris shot his hands up in the air pretending to surrender. He laughed harder when Zoe tried to lick Raja and the cub rolled on his back and batted Zoe's nose.
"Breakfast time!" Mr.Harris said. Raja padded into the wood room after the man.
Soon sizzling bacon and crackling eggs could be heard, and smelled. Raja lifted his nose eagerly toward the smells. His hungry stomach moaned and groaned as the smells got stronger. "Here you go cubby,and Zoe here you go. He said happily as he set two bowls down with bacon and eggs in them down. He sat at the table with his own bowl and ate his own breakfast. Raja ate quickly licking his bowl clean. "Hungry?" Zoe asked laughing. Raja nodded feeling unashamed that he had eaten so fast. Finally, his stomach full and his thirst quenched he lay on the floor next to Mr.Harris and fell asleep.

More of the story...

Raja woke with the sun shining on his tan fur. He looked around, he was still under the table and Zoe was in her bed. Mr.Harris was at a small desk writing. Raja yawned loudly and Zoe looked up. "Hey there, sugar." She barked warmly. Raja smiled and stretched. Mr.Harris didn't look up.
"Zoe?" Raja asked timidly, as he walked up to the pink dog bed. She looked up at him. "What do you do around here for... fun?" Raja asked. Zoe let out a laugh.
"Sugar pie, you can do whatever you want." She said still chuckling. Raja smiled and ran up to Mr.Harris. He pawed his pant leg, and mewed.
"Not now cub." Mr.Harris said sternly. Raja looked up at the man confused. He wanted to play, not sit and sleep all day. Raja padded up to the sliding glass door and looked out at the green lawn. He scratched the door and looked back at Mr.Harris.
"You want out?" He asked, Raja pawed harder. Mr.Harris walked up to the door and slid it open. Raja bounded out into the cool green grass.
"Where am I?" Raja asked out loud to no one in particular, looking out at the chain link fence surrounding the yard. He stood next to the chain link fence and patrolled back and forth. Finally he gave up and lay down next to the chain. He wanted out of the fence, not just out of the house. Raja rolled lazily onto his back and looked up at the clouds. He tried to think of a plan out, but after hours of thinking he walked up to the glass door. Mr.Harris let him in and then went back to the desk. Raja stumbled up to Zoe's bed and curled up next to the dog. Her fur really wasn't the same as his mothers, Raja thought. "Maybe if I sleep I can come up with a plan." Raja whispered. He lay his head down and slept.
Waking Raja looked around disoriented. The room was dark, He looked at the desk, no Mr.Harris. Raja had dreamed up a plan like he had hopped and soon stood next to the glass door once more. He pawed and mewed and scratched, but no one heard him. Zoe changed positions in her pink bed, Raja sighed. Thinking, he walked up to a chair next to the table. He pushed with all his strength and shoved it a little ways over. He panted and pushed again, and again, and again. Finally the chair was next to the door. He hopped with one swift move onto it. Then looked at the door handle. The little lock switch was down, which meant it was locked. He extended his left leg and shoved it up. It "Clicked" up and unlocked. Raja then used both paws and shoved with all his might against the door handle. It squealed in protest and opened a little bit. Raja sat on his chair catching his breath. Then pushed and shoved more. Finally the door was opened enough for his little body to go through. Raja hopped off the chair, making it skid to the side and squeal. Zoe jumped up in her bed and barked. Raja hissed and spat at the sound. A light went on in Mr.Harris's room. "Zoe, what's going on!!!???" He yelled running out into the living room. Raja held completely still, hoping not to be seen. Zoe barked and whined looking at Raja. Mr.Harris followed her gaze and saw the cub and the open door. "No." He whispered. "Here, cubby, cubby. Come to Mr.Harris!" The man half shouted. Raja smiled.
"See ya!" He roared hopping out the door. He could hear Mr.Harris yell and stumble up to the door. Raja ran to the fence and looked back to see the man running at him smiling.
"Gotcha now!" He said laughing. Raja smiled wider. And jumped onto the fence, just as planned he landed smack in the middle. He extended his claws and climbed up the rest of the way. He jumped off it easily and landed safely on the other side.
"Good try!" He laughed looking over his shoulder at he man standing at the fence shaking his fist. Zoe ran out barking and clawing the chain.
"RAJA! No Raja come back!" She whined. You wish, Raja thought. He pounded past houses and up streets. Finally he came to one long black street with cars zooming past. He remembered coming through here when Mr.Harris drove him to his house the first day. Raja sighed looking at the stars.
"I'm coming mother!" He whisper yelled into the sky. Then ran up the street the way he came the day before.

Kiara woke to the sun glinting off her fur. She felt around for Kovu. The space was empty, he must be outside, she thought. Kiara stood stiff and stretched yawning. She padded out of the den slowly. "Kovu?" She asked.
"Over here Kiara." Kovu said sitting at the edge of the rock again. Kiara padded up to him.
"Kovu are you ok?" She asked timidly. He shook his head. She sighed. "Kovu we will find him." she said hoping it was true. Kovu looked at her, sadness filling his eyes. She shook with sadness. Kovu nuzzled her, and she looked up he was looking into the horizon.
"Kiara, he's gone." Kovu said quietly. "He won't be coming back. So don't try to act like he is going to survive." Kovu said angry.
Kiara gasped. She looked at her mate then at the ground. "How can you say that!? For all we know he could be just lost out in the savanna!" Kiara yelled. Kovu looked away. "How dare you give up hope! HOW DARE YOU! Are you saying we stop trying to find him!?" Kiara yelled. Kovu nodded still looking away. Kiara's eyes widened, her anger built up inside like a balloon getting blown up to much. She slapped Kovu in the face with her paw. He yelped and jumped away from her. She gasped at herself and looked at him. His scar over his eye burned red from the slap. Tears welled up in her eyes and she ran into the grass.
"Kiara! Kiara wait!" Kovu yelled. Kiara didn't listen she had to find Raja. If it was the last thing she could do.
