The thought came to mind, after reading a question on Spirit Source, why not have a section for characters that never appeared in the movie. Like Lion King for example. After people complained about characters from the new 6 adventure books not have character pages, they appeared in the official characters section. I have no problem with the characters, but the official character section is for characters that appeared in the movies. Book characters need their own place I think. Like official book characters or something.

What do you think?

As someone who spends plenty of time on TLKS, I don't think the Six New Adventures characters should have their own section. True, they don't appear in the movies, but they do interact with the characters from the movies.

Canon, when it comes to The Lion King, should refer to characters in the movies, the books and the comics. They are part of The Lion King universe as a whole. So, in a manner, at least to me, taking the Six New Adventures characters out would be like leaving a gap in the universe. It shrinks it, makes it small, narrows it down tremendously. I might be wrong, but that's my two cents.

I agree with this idea. Honestly, it's starting to tick me off that they're all together. xD There should be a section saying 'Exclusively as a part of the books' or whatever to separate them.

Nice idea. Very nice idea.
I liked this on TLKS and many people asked on Bambi Source if it could be done with Bambi's children for example. It sounds very good. Listed with "Realistic/Sparkledog", "Pubblic, Private", "Official/Fan character" we should add "Movie or Book character".
