- Hey, we're family, right? And family sticks together, Aleksei said with a comforting smile.

(Did you see my newest graphic as well? Worked pretty hard on it^^)

Anuli smiled at him. Something told her that they'd need to stick together in the future. And if this was her family, she wasn't too worried about the future.

(I did, it's pretty amazing! I just made a new graphic to Balto Source ^^)

Sergei watched the cubs and listened to their conversation with a proud smile on his face. He knew that with those attitudes they would both make it for sure one day when they had to leave and start lives of their own.

(Thanks^^ and I'll check it out and how about a time skip till they get off grounding? I'm thinking of bringing Daren in then^^)

Anuli got up, went over and flopped down next to her father. "Sorry we worried you so much. It was my idea, but you probably knew that."

(Cool, it's up now And sure, I am getting a little writer's block already xD)

- Actually, I knew, Sergei said with a laugh, and wrapped his paw around his daughter.

- But that's all right. The most important thing is that you're both safe.

Anuli closed her eyes and snuggled into her father's embrace.

A few days later, Anuli and Aleksei were simply sitting at the cave, clearly bored out of their minds, when they saw their parents coming towards them. "Did we do something wrong?" Anuli asked her brother.

(Sorry for not replying earlier, I was on a cruise)

- No... or at least I don't think so, Aleksei said, raising an eyebrow, and looked at their parents approaching them.

(Sorry I'm late. We shifted house and the net broke down, so we had to get a new connection. To top it off, I fell ill for the last three days.)

"If its something I did, I'm blaming you for it." Anuli joked.

- That's what you always do, Anuli, Aleksei laughed, raising his eyebrows.

- Well, finally, Aleksei said with a smile and rose up to his feet.

- But don't think you're getting away with this so easily, next time we won't be so generous, Sergei added.

"We know." Anuli said, trying to hide the huge smile that crept over her face.

"Now, don't you both have some playing to do?" Amali grinned. "Just, don't get in trouble, okay?"
