Simba saw his son and daughter, Kopa and Kiara, with a cub that he didn't recognize. He signaled for three of the lionesses that were close by to come with him as he investigated this. They reach them both and he stands in front of Kiara and Kopa and asks, "And who might you be?"

Kopa looked up to see his dad over him. He lowered his body as his dad seemed mad. Then he looked at the young lion. "This is Jego. He want to join our pride his family is gone." He said.

Simba looked down at his son and said, "Well then. We must take him in then. I'm sure one of the lionesses are lonely and want a little friend around. And besides, you need some company anyway. Come on Jego. Follow me."

Zira was pacing the floor wondering where Jego was.

Kiara had been spacing out for the whole time Jego and Kopa were chatting. "Hmm?" She said. Next thing she knew, she was standing at her fathers foot.

"Hey mother." Vitani said, the young lioness coming up behind Zira. "Have you seen Kovu or Jego todday?" She asked payfully.

Kopa started to laugh at Kiara. "You got a crush on Jego." He said running away so Kiara couldn't get on him. "Haha." He said to her and started to run up Pride Rock.

Simba watches as the three cubs start to run towards Pride Rock in joyful play. "This will be good for them... Gives them someone other than each other to learn and interact with... I'm so proud..."

Zira stops pacing, "Well hello, Vitani. I haven't seen either or them." She looks to Nuka, "I have a task for you."
