Plot:
A young man, the age of 18 goes to school at St. Fredrick. He and his friends develop this talent of skate boarding. They meet a lot of cool people at school and they soon become almost popular. This skater boy is making new friends and fast, but one group of teens at school hate just about everyone there and they try to bring down the skater boy. They make fun of his baggy clothes and tell him that his life sucks. He doesn't believe them or listen to them. He continues and a few weeks later there is a new girl. He develops a liking for her, not being able to control his feelings or thoughts for her, he wants to ask her out but is scared. He and his friends try and get their grades up and still be skate boarders, but where there is a bright side... There is a downfall, the mean kids always make him fail his classes by messing with him and stealing his things. Will you be his friend and help him or will be a back stabber like everyone else?

Nickname: Rafa [pronounced: 'R-ah-fah']

Family: She lives with her mother and father, although they are constantly fighting.
Appearance/Looks: Like this, but the hair is a bit longer [reaches to a bit below shoulders].
Personality: Rafa is headstrong. A lot of times it's either her way or the highway, and most people shrug her off because of her hostile disposition. Unless she thinks you're worth her time, she doesn't give you a second glance, and a lot of times this is what hides her greatest weakness. She's desperately confused when it comes to terms with family, so real friends are a foreign concept to her. Her own attitude has given her little to no time getting to know people, and because of her bitterness towards the people who were supposed to shelter her, she's acted out on strangers rather than finding an outlet. She finds comfort in people like her, and is slowly beginning to warm up to the masses of people at school. It takes a strong mind and a powerful heart to get Rafa to change.
History: Rafa had always felt a strong connection with animals. They were free of judgment, they didn't do anything bad of their own accord. And they especially didn't fight unless they had a reason. When she was little, her parents were loving and doting. They adored her and did everything for her, however that didn't last long. When she turned 10, they decided to stop the act and return to a struggle they had been holding back from her. They had never fought in front of Rafa before, and so she was surprised when she heard yelling nearby while making a peanut butter sandwich for school the next day.

It was due to this fighting that Rafa became a slightly rebellious student. In school, she'd find any minimal way to cut the teacher off, disrupt class, or even stand up in front of the room and cause chaos. Her parents were constantly disappointed in her, having to come together to parent teacher conferences and being forced to discuss her behavior. She merely shrugged it off as unimportant, and it came to a point where her father almost threatened divorce. Instead, he decided to stay home. It wasn't worth the effort, and besides. That would throw away ten years that he and his wife had put work into in order to keep the fighting away from their daughter.

When Rafa became 15, she immediately began to recognize why her parents even bothered staying the same room. They were waiting until she left. When she asked for a dog, her parents didn't protest. They just did. This is how she came to own Shadow, a little German Shepherd puppy who grew along with her. After that, her attitude had calmed down intensely around her parents since Shadow was there, but the person she had become at school had been ultimately, already been shaped . Mood swings came to her often, and she got angry if insults came her way at school. She'd challenge people to fights, despite who they thought they were, and got into more trouble still. Her situation was minor compared to other stories from other kids, but she was still bitter. Knowing that there were other kids still who had no problems made her snap at the nearest stranger who attempted to comfort her.

A year later, she surprisingly opened up a bit. Instead of fighting, her parents had decided to go into quiet mode, choosing to live in a 'depressed state' until further notice or probably until Rafa stopped being a trouble maker. She was dismayed at the sudden lack of commotion, and silenced her terrible habits for the time being... or at least suppressed them. It was during this time that she came to a new school. At first, Rafa didn't think twice about ignoring the popular guys and girls and going her own way, but after some time and thought, she began to realize that maybe not all of them weren't so bad. She introduced herself hesitantly, wishing she had never gotten the guts to say hi in the first place. Since she had made the first move, it wasn't in Rafa's best interest to blow up right now. When she got to know a few people, she became calmer altogether. Even though her parents started acting up, and Rafa did too, she finds some sort of strength in her few friends. Because of them, her presence at this new school as been made very well known, although she dims herself down so she'll never be truly popular - she'd hate to turn into someone shallow like that.

Joel & Jake:
They were running late again. They had woke up and the bell for school was 2 minutes away from rining, they both ran out of their houses at the same time. They hopped in their cars and sped at 60-70 mph. down to the school. Jake got pulled over by a cop but Joel didn't. He kept going, Kyle and Johny were at school trying to stall the teacher.

The day had started early for Jose, he had soccer practice 1st period, and that meant he had to get up at 5:00 in the morning and drive down to school. Practice was boring, he was better than everyone and there was no real competition, no one apposed his decisions and no one tried to steal the ball from Jose. This made him feel bad though, so today he didn’t really try; he let the others kill him. At the end of practice Jose laughed as the others panted and gasped for breath.
“Looks like you guys got the best of me!” He said, flashing a ‘Hah, you guys all suck’ smile. His team mates playfully glowered at him and all tackled him in unison. They all fell to the ground laughing like a family. It was around 7:50 when practice ended, school started in ten minuets. Jose sprinted to the locker room and took a quick shower. By the time he got out it was 8:01 the late bell would be ringing any minuet now. Jose cursed, but lazily made his way to Spanish class, he all ready knew the language fluently and refused to learn French, Spanish class was MORE than easy for him, it was practically a free period.

Joel:
I parked my car and hurried to shut off the engine. I snatched my jacket and bookbag and ran for the door. I ran up the stairs but I was tripped by the mean kids. They held me down and waited till the bell rung to let me up. I pushed them and came in class. The teacher looked at me with a stern face and said: Your late young man. I sighed. But it isn't my fault. The emo kids ove- She cut me off and that was the end of it.

Jose walked into class just as the bell rang, his teacher, Mr. Bratt, smiled at him and told greeted him in Spanish. Jose replied quickly in his native tongue and then took a seat, looking out the window and sighing.

Joel: Ms. Walles, can I move to the back of the class please. She pursed her lips and stood up straight she pointed to a desk in the back right corner and thats where he was to sit. He moved all his things to the back and sat back, smiling. Now nobody could kick his chair and make him loose focus.

Francis pulled into the parking lot of the school, parking in one of the teacher's spots. When Ms. Mason saw him, she opened her mouth to scold the student, but with one wink from the french Blonde she was silenced. Francis walked down the hallway to his locker, twirling the dial a few times before opening it. He pulled out his books, and shut his locker, begining to walk to his first class. He snickered when another student, Joel, was fussed at by the teacher.
