Just two small little things I thought I'd suggest that could make navigating the site a lot easier.

For one thing, we all know that when viewing someone's art gallery or image gallery, you can only move to the previous image, not the next one. The interface used to allow - although it was a few years back - you to go both to the next image or to the previous one. It's a small little quirk but if fixed, it would certainly be a lot easier and convenient than having to go back to the entire gallery again.

And the other thing, though this is minimal as well, was the page numbers. On most of the various sources, when viewing screenshots it looks something like this: 1 2 3 ... 13. See my point? In order to get to the middle, you would first have to click 3, then the one after that... and the one after that... and you get my drift? It pretty much takes forever to get to the screenshots that are in the middle of the movie. I thought that perhaps if all the pages could be shown at once in a sequence, it may make life a bit easier.

I think these two things would be fairly easy to accomplish but would make the site a heck of a lot easier to get around on. Opinions on this?

I like the first idea.

For the second one there's also another technique I've seen DA use which is clicking on the "..." and being able to type in a page number. This could help from having too many images on a page at once and also be faster in searching for the right screenshot.

The only issue with the page number thing is that once a topic reaches 10 or more pages, that area of the web page would get crowded, and with several topics throughout the Sources like that, it might not be such a good idea.

I have a suggestion of my own, though: On the sites, it has a link to the member's forum profile, so why not have a link to the site profile. It could be convenient whenever someone wants to know a bit more about a member or just refresh their memory when replying to a topic.

@Origamist: I only meant to have the number thing on the screenshots, if you know what I mean. The board topics, well... typically not many people feel like scrolling through all the pages if it's above 20 or something. xD
I like your idea, though. I've been wanting to see that myself for a while now.

In that case I agree with you completely. We should be able to go through 10 or 20 pages of art at a time.

LATE EDIT: One other thing I just thought of is a way to be alerted in some way whever someone comments or faves one of your drawings, fics, characters, etc. I like to reply to any comments whenever I can, and it gets annoying to check through everything every day (I actually stopped that a few weeks ago for that vary reason), and when I do see comments, they're often a few days old by then.
