Most of these (almost all, actually) have to do with art, charries, designing characters, etc. However, I haven't seen any that involve writing. So, as a way to burn off the incredible boredom that accumulates during the day, I'm opening this; a topic where you can request for me to write something. I'll do short stories, mainly, though I'll try my hand at poetry if you don't mind having to suffer through it. I'll also help you to come up with plots if you need it, as long as you give me a general theme/idea of where you want to go with it. FormatCharacter(s): Personality: History: (if it's needed, or if you just like to over-achieve) Plot: (this also can include general theme or idea of what you want to happen; it doesn't have to be specific) This is for short stories involving your characters. Just fill it out; if you have any questions, feel free to ask.~If you want me to do a fanfiction, it has to be something I've read or watched. Otherwise, I'll have no clue as to who the characters are. :/ If you want to see if I've read/watched something, just ask here or shoot me a PM. I'll also need a general outline/plot for this. ~A note: the stories won't be that long. Ahem, short stories. Though depending on how busy this topic is (which will either surprise me and be popular, or go dead within the hour) I may lengthen then/shorten them. Can't be overwhelmed, you know? I'll be keeping a list though, so you know if I have spots open. You can post here just so you don't lose the topic if you want to wait for a spot to be open; I don't mind. Just try not to spam too much, you know? Anyway, hope this goes well. Oh, duh. I should probably post an example of something I've written. My example is a bit short, and depressing, but I had to cut out a huge portion of it, or it would be too long. Anyway, here it is; ~~~~~ “No!” I cried out, the pain in my ankle forgotten. Partially buried under the splintered remains of a tree, my dad was crumpled into the snow. The ice underneath him was stained pink from the same blood that soaked his jacket. I ran to him, skidding to an awkward halt and kneeling beside him. I arrived in time for him to give a weak smile in my direction, his eyes holding the tenderness that only a parent could know…and then he passed away. Tears welled up in my eyes, freezing on their route down my cheek. One managed to stay liquid, and dripped onto his face. “No,” I repeated, now a whisper. I felt empty, and shivery. The events were putting me into shock for sure. My dad, my best friend in the world, had left me to deal with the cruel, frightening world alone. Without thinking, I pounded gently on his chest. “You can’t leave me,” I insisted. “Come back.” My demands didn’t cause anything to happen, and a raw sob burst out of me. There was so much grief inside of me; the amount couldn’t be described. Memories overwhelmed me, now bittersweet. My dad and I sipping lemonade on the porch. Patching up my scraped knee, holding me while I cried. Comforting me while I was sick, simply giving me a kiss on my cheek. His arms, warm around me. They won’t ever wrap around me again. That thought was the worst, and I sobbed all the harder. I slipped my hand into his, clutching it tight. He didn’t squeeze back. What felt like an eternity passed before I heard sirens. I was numb with emotional pain and shock. When the ambulances arrived, the paramedics tried to pull me away. “No,” I whispered stubbornly. “I’m not leaving him.” They couldn’t refuse me, the young, tear-stained girl who had just been through such a terrible ordeal, such a devestating loss. They let me sit with him, humoring me. Tears streamed down my cheeks and shuddering sobs shook my trembling frame all the way to the hospital. I knew that he would’ve wiped away my tears, comforted me, assured me that everything would be all right. But he didn’t, he couldn’t. Because he was gone. And all I wanted was to be with him. ~~~~ It's a bit old, but whatever. It'll give you the general idea of my writing style. You can always PM me and ask for another example if you want. Anyway, hope that someone finds this interesting. Enjoy! ::Status::Slot One: OpenSlot Two: OpenSlot Three: Open

Character(s): BaliffPersonality: Although Baliff may appear firm and warm on the outside, he’s quite the different individual on the inside. Qualities that shine through his exterior are friendliness, loyalty, and bravery, and while those may not be necessarily fake, he uses them as a poker face. The truth of the matter is that Baliff is strong towards others but quite fragile in and of himself. He is a freedom loving dog who uses his spare time to roam, because often he feels trapped otherwise. Baliff wouldn’t hurt a soul unless he has to, and his temper is something seldom triggered by another individual. He’s a big fan on the thought process, and is quite the intelligent mind when given a chance to show it. He is good when it comes to strategy, which is handy considering he lacks in areas such as brute strength and cunning speed. He tends to over think things, though, and the loss of his human partner has forbid him from opening his heart to anyone anymore. For the most part, Baliff keeps to himself, but every now and again he goes in search of his past buddies to remind himself that he is not entirely alone. Baliff, despite his warring internal state, likes to be happy. The best memories he has are those where he was free to do as he pleased and laughing the entire time. He is curious, adventurous, and if dare-said, spunky and excited at his very best. When he forgets about his problems, his warmth on the outside can sometimes conquer the ice on the inside. History: [history is too long] Please see his page above (: Plot: There's a part in his history towards the bottom that isn't gone into depth too much. The part where he gets his next partner killed after Jude got discharged, when a missile narrowly misses his side - "Jude had been discharged quite some time ago, and now Baliff felt all alone on this. He nearly died while on enemy grounds, as his back ankle was hit by a misaimed missile. It had been meant for the human he was assigned to protect, and after he too died, Baliff was finally discharged." I think it would be interesting if you (with your God like writing skills :3) could make a short story depicting what happens!

Hooray! I'll be waiting patiently and in anticipation. Thank you! Though you should know that it'll be epic for sure. ;D

Alright, I finished. Lemme know if you want me to go back and edit anything. I'd be happy to oblige. He was alone. Granted, he was surrounded by soldiers and distant friends, but it wasn’t the same as before. Jude had been discharged and his former partner, Rick, had…died. It killed Baliff to even think the word, but he couldn’t change what had happened, no matter how desperately he wished he could. The only thing he could do was honor Rick’s memory and keep fighting. The dog tags wrapped around his tail clinked together gently as Baliff shifted position, studying the horizon. Though the land and sky in front of them seemed devoid of enemy life, there was a fight approaching. Baliff could sense it in the tension in the air, the way the world seemed to hold its breath, as if it knew that a bloody massacre was quickly approaching. The humans could sense it too, and they fingered their weapons restlessly, uneasy murmurs filling the air between the ranks. The sound of a plan overhead caused everyone to tense, looking up, fear in some of the newer recruits’ eyes. “Open fire!” a soldier screamed out as the plane swooped in low, the painted markings on the sides identifying it as enemy aircraft. Baliff shook his head, avian goggles around his neck thumping gently against his chest with the small motion. He had to focus, get his head in the game. Bullets ripped through the air, throwing up clouds of dirt where the hit the ground. Baliff didn’t feel like describing what happened when they didn’t hit the ground. His new partner trained his gun at the sky, finger ready on the trigger. “Fall back!” The sudden command was immediately obeyed; the sudden aerial attack had left the soldiers shaken, and they needed to regroup. Baliff ran alongside his partner, paws sinking slightly into the ground that was now soaked with blood. The sharp scent of fear clogged the air, and Baliff had to fight the urge to sneeze. They halted near a group of their comrades, some of which were already wounded. Some of them had bandages covering the injuries and staunching the flow of blood. However, there were only a few medics, and there were a lot of soldiers. Most had a hand clutching the wound, struggling to stop the bleeding themselves until they were reached by the medics. Some didn’t make it. Baliff tried to ignore the scene around him, instead focusing on that hard core that he had built within himself. That hard core had enabled him to get through the death of Rick and the absence of Jude’s friendship. It was that core that gave him the strength to carry on even when there seemed to be nothing left in the world to live for. It would get him through this. Baliff’s good ear perked up as a distant whine, barely audible, cut through the air. He let out a low growl, brown fur standing up in aggressive, wary spikes on the back of his neck. His partner glanced down, eyes narrowing in momentary confusion. Then the deafening sounds of explosions rang through the air. Baliff grabbed his partner’s sleeve and yanked him down, not bothering to be gentle. War didn’t require gentleness; it required survival. The whining sound of missiles rushing through the air added to the chaotic atmosphere as soldiers collapsed to escape the weapons, or because they were victims of it. “Regroup! Fall back!” The same cry was echoed in the air once again, somehow rising above the din of the battle. In an odd mixture of fearful haste and slow cautiousness, the soldiers rose, running as a group back to the designated location. Baliff’s partner stopped to help a man whose leg had been hit, putting him far behind the group and closer to the danger that literally loomed overhead. Another man finally came along who helped the injured soldier. This freed Baliff’s partner, but still put them both far behind the large group who had first left. Baliff ran beside his partner, feeling his heart race, feeling his body jolt as his paws pounded into the blood-soaked earth below. Then came the dreaded whine. Baliff managed to shove his partner aside with a quick nudge to his legs; however, the missile still struck flesh. Baliff felt the burning, horrible pain as his back ankle snapped from the impact. He collapsed, plowing a small furrow into the ground. His partner immediately halted, and Baliff growled, trying to convey the message to run. He wasn’t about to watch someone else die, not now, not like this. However, there was nothing he could do to prevent it. As the airborne weapons ripped through the air, one hit Baliff’s partner. Baliff could clearly see the surprise and hurt on his face as he collapsed, thrust backward by the impact. Baliff let out a soft whine, but was unable to get up, instead lying there. He didn’t have to stand, anyway. Baliff didn’t have to see the still body, clothes muddy and torn, a small hole in his partner’s chest. He knew what had happened. And just like before, there was nothing he could do. Nothing except grieve, and scold himself for ever growing loyal to a partner again. The death of Rick should have taught him, but Baliff had opened up to someone again. And look what had happened; Baliff now felt as if a hole had been dug inside his chest. He felt hollowed, empty. He was numb, though he knew later he would be more sorrowful. For now, he just laid there, unwilling to face the world. A while later, after healing somewhat, Baliff found himself on a trip home, discharged from the army just as Jude had been a while back. Before, Baliff would have enjoyed the familiar sites, taking in the details that he could before they blurred, rushing by him quickly. Now he merely closed him eyes, not wanting to see what he had once been. He would face that later. But for now, he didn’t want to have to face the world that had taken so much from him.

THIS. v Windancer wrote: And maybe Bruce should just lock himself and Clark in a car together....and "discuss" it... 8D And the other one with Robin if you wanna. :3 ...and then I have something else I was thinking of that involves flying that I think you'd enjoy, but I'm not sure about how to request it and you've probably got enough on your plate now. ^^;

Sorry for the double post, but I got the Bruce/Clark one done. Bruce frowned, pressing and activating the small com piece in his ear. “Clark, we need to talk,” he said shortly, echoing a previous statement he had made. Both were said with Superboy in mind. Having taken Robin in, he now knew what being a father involved. And even if Clark didn’t want to admit it, he was Superboy’s father, in a way. It was high time he realized that. “I’m busy, Bruce,” Superman replied, the voice buzzing through the ear piece. “It’s important,” he replied. A moment of silence, filled with quiet static, followed briefly. Finally, it was interrupted. “I’m on my way.” It wasn’t long before Superman, dressed in his civvies, showed up. He slowed once he saw Bruce, stopping beside him. “What is it we need to talk about?” he asked. Bruce simply gestured to the car behind him, opening the door. Hesitating slightly, Clark slid into the car. Bruce got in a few seconds later, and stared at Clark for a moment before speaking. “I know you don’t want to accept the responsibility, but that boy needs his father,” he began. Immediately, he was interrupted as Clark picked up on his intentions. “I’m not his father!” he protested, reaching for the door handle to get out. Bruce simply locked the doors, looking at him silently. “Bruce.” Clark’s voice contained a slight warning, a sure sign that he did not want to have this conversation. “Clark,” Bruce immediately responded. “You can’t keep ignoring him. Eventually you have to stop pretending, and step up and take the responsibility. He needs his father,” he repeated. “Look, just because he’s my clone doesn’t make him my son!” Clark responded heatedly. Bruce’s eyes flashed with frustration for a brief second. “He looks up to you as a father,” Bruce responded bluntly. “And since when have you started letting people down?” Clark opened his mouth as if to say something, but he was cut off. “Look, I know you don’t want this. But you can’t change it, and ignoring it will only make it worse.” “Ignoring it seems to be working fine for right now.” “You don’t see him, Clark. I do. Trust me; it will and is making things worse.” Clark paused, then gave a small sigh of resignation, dropping his gaze momentarily. “Fine. I’ll give it a chance,” he said. A few days later… Superboy glanced up, surprised to see Superman standing there. He didn’t show it, instead quickly averting his gaze. Since when had Superman ever bothered to come talk to him anyways? He was just the clone that Superman would rather ignore. However, instead of pointedly walking away, like usual, Superman actually stood there for a moment, glancing at Superboy a bit hesitantly. He cleared his throat awkwardly. “I’ve been thinking…” he began. “Yeah?” Superboy asked, finally meeting Superman’s eyes. “I, uh, have time to, uh, help you figure out your limits now,” he responded, the statement obviously awkward as he referred to one of their previous “conversations”. It was welcome nonetheless. Superboy nodded, blue eyes hiding a smile. Batman watched the two. Finally, he thought, seeing their relationship already beginning to grow. A bit short, but hope you like it anyway.

YA DARN RIGHT I WAS SERIOUS! xD ZOMFG *spazzes with excitement* It was WONDERFUL! 8DD Send it to the writers!! Hehe, I'll try for the other story now. ^^; Oh, and this is a BRILLIANT idea, Windancer!! I'm gonna have fun with this topic. >:3 Character(s): Novak ( http://kigerwolfrd.deviantart.com/galle ... 7#/d3ff4ek ) as the main. And Wisdom ( http://kigerwolfrd.deviantart.com/art/D ... 78897&qo=7 ). Character details: As you've probably noticed from the pics, they're winged canine (wolf-like) creatures. I don't know how to explain why or how they exist. Except that they just do. ^^; But as well as having wings, they're very birdlike on the inside too. Especially appetite. Since you've read Maximum Ride, I assume you know what I mean. ;] Personality: Novak is calm. Quiet. His head buzzing with questions and constant thought process as he's always curious about the world around him as he's still so young, but too shy to ever say anything. He's not afraid to speak up when something he severely believes in is threatened though. He's compassionate and caring about those he cares about and his morals give him rules to follow in a harsh world. - Wisdom's a jerk. He hates everyone and everything, and will admit it. He has a very cold personality, and is rather blood thirsty, and will sometimes kill for fun. I haven't developed him any more than that. Feel free to improvise if need be as long as it goes along with the rest of the details listed. ^^; History: Novak was separated from his parents when he was young. He was too young in fact to really remember it, and never felt sad about it for you can't miss a memory of someone you can't remember. He was raised by a small flock/pack/...plock? o_0 of other winged canines. Eventually, after a disastrously failed hunt and an even more severe illness wipe out the rest of their... group, leaving Wisdom and himself as the last remaining ones. And they've been surviving together for a few years by themselves without another of their kind in sight. Plot: Novak witnesses Wisdom kill a pup without hesitation or a second thought, and questions his morals as Wisdom claims it was a 'mercy killing' when in reality, Wisdom's soul is being ...eaten... from the inside, and is a threat to Novak. A betrayal type of tale that leaves Novak to kill the only 'family' he has left. ( Doesn't have to be gory ...though I prefer it. ^^; )

Lol, referred to them as "avian lupines" once or twice. Hope that's ok...it's also a bit dark, as a warning to any of the younger members who would randomly start reading this. So...heads up. Novak surveryed the land below him. Dim, fading memories filled his mind; the valley caves so full of life, the sky spotted with the silhouettes of the winged wolves that soared high above the ground. They were an ancient breed. Now they were all but extinct. Novak still held out on the hope that other, hidden populations might exist. He didn't admit it, however, pushing the dying hope into the back of his mind, ignoring it for now. Novak tucked his wings in close to his body, angling himself downwars and letting gravitu pull him into a steep dive. The oh-so-familiar rush of adrenaline filled him as the ground grew rapidly closer. His wings suddenly flared, stopping his sharp descent a mere few feet above the ground. Novak's lips curled upward in a small smile, tail wagging slightly; he loved doing that. The quiet avian lupine padded lightly towards the cave once his paws touched the ground. Many caves and ledges dotted the rocky faces of the valley. Novak was staying in one fairly close to the ground, the entrance marked by a stunted tree, somewhat charred on the outside. It's splintered frame and ashy coating were probably the result of some lightning strike in a long ago storm. The tip of Novak's dark nose was already in the cave when a gentle whine echoed through the air. Novak paused, ears swiveling to hear it betteer. The same whimpering sound came again, though quieter this time. Curiousity aroused, he catiously walked in the direction in had come from. His wings, held somewhat aloft, and ears, pressed against his head, conveyed his surprise as he stumbled into the source of the whimpering. A small pup, limbs limp and almost lifeless, curled pitifully into the ground. He slowly moved towards it, eyes widening. What was a pup doing here, abandoned, obviously close to death. Novak moved closer, noticing the shallow rise and fall of its chest, the rasping breaths. At least it was breathing. He moved to pick it up, hoping he might be able to do something. Wisdom appeared behind Novak. "Don't bother," he said, staring at the pup as if it was something nasty he had stepped in by accident. Novak cocked his head; what did he mean? "The pup will die no matter what. Why...prolong its, ah...suffering?" he continued, an odd, cold edge in his voice. His tone made Novak take a step back; something bad was going to happen, he could tell. Wisdom suddenly lunged forward, picking up the pup roughly in his powerful jaws. Novak's eyes widened. "No!" he whispered fervently, frozen, unable to stop the horror that was coming. Instead he closed his eyes, unwilling to look. That didn't stop him from hearing the sound though. The pup whimpered fearfully, rasping breaths now coming in short breaths as he hyperventilated, heart racing. Wisdom shook the pup roughly, and with a gut-wrenching snap, the pup's whimpers were cut off as his neck broke. Novak kept his eyes closed, even as he heard the dull thump as Wisdom dropped the pup onto the ground. "There," Novak said, cold satisfaction in his voice, "Mercy." He padded off, but Novak still kept his eyes closed. If he didn't have to see it, it meant he could deny it, pretend that that had never happened. He stood there for what felt like an eternity, breaths coming hard. Finally, he turned and ran, eyes still squeezed shut against what had just happened. Novak eventually slowed, and then came to a stop. He found himself sobbing lightly, breaths jerking harshly out of his chest. That...couldn't have just happened. Wisdom, yes, could be a jerk sometimes, but he was the only family Novak had left. But Novak couldn't live with a...murderer. Novak sat down, feeling slightly dizzy. What would he do? Slowly, he came to the realization that he couldn't do anything right now. The best thing to do would be to go back and pretend nothing had happened. Novak stood, a bit unsteadily. He began the walk back to the cave, making sure to steer clear of the site of the...incident. Novak's nose twitched; Wisdom was in the cave, his scent quite prominent. There was also the vague, metallic scent of blood, but Novak struggled to ignore that as he carefully padded inside. "Where have you been?!" Wisdom immediately snarled, a cold furious glint in his eyes. Novak shrank back, eyes wide as he recalled what had happened only moments before. Would he be next? Wisdom gave a low growl, then finally backed off. Novak couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief, wings drooping with his heavy exhale as he relaxed somewhat. He was safe; for now. That led to another thought, though. If Wisdom had reacted that badly to him just walking into the cave, his home, was it possible he would turn on him too? No....Novak had to shake that thought off, reminding himself once again that there was nothing he could do, and Wisdom wouldn't actually harm him. Then came the searing pain. It was only in a small spot, originating from a small tear in his ear, but it felt like someone was holding a match to his skin. Novak stumbled backwards, shocked and suddenly frightened. Wisdom glared at him. "Next time don't run off," he snapped, a harsh, uncaring note in his voice. It was the same tone Wisdom had used right before the murder of the pup. Novak stared at him silently, wide eyed, thoughts racing. This meant that Wisdom definitely couldn't be trusted. And that meant - his thoughts were interrupted as jaws closed around his throat. They didn't fully scissor into his skin, but they did leave small marks. Wisdom gave him another death look; literally. "That was a warning. Next time I won't be so...gentle." Novak didn't want to see him when he wasn't gentle. He gave a weak nod, shivering lightly, a deep chasm of dread opening inside of him. He pulled his wings around him like a feathery shield, feeling weak and vulnerable. Ignoring it wasn't an option now for sure. So...what would he do? Novak eventually came to a conclusion, but the thought was so horrible...he would have to kill Wisdom. Novak felt horrible inside just thinking about it, but he reminded himself of the innocent pup's death, and the unveiled threat he had just recieved. Surely, by ending Wisdom's existence, he would save many more lives? Novak remembered that Wisdom hadn't always been this cruel. A jerk maybe, but certainly not a murderer. He was almost an older brother, really. But he had gotten worse; Novak had just been too blind and naive to see it before now. Not anymore. He slowly lifted his wings away from himself, tucking them neatly against his spine, standing more erect. He had a job to do. Trying not to think about what he was about to do, Novak moved to follow Wisdom. "What?" the older avian lupine growled, a warning, threatening edge in his voice. "I-I don't th-think you should've killed that pup. Or threatened me," Novak replied, voice gradually growing in strength. "Why you little-! Do I have to teach you a lesson?" Wisdom asked, voice low and growing in aggression. He stepped forward, broad, muscular frame painfully obvious to Novak, who was quite a bit smaller and more wiry. "No," he said. "I think you need to learn one." That seemed to push the volatile Wisdom over the edge, and the hybrid lunged, jaws open, fangs ready to crush the life out of the younger avian lupine. Novak braced himself, and ducked, coming up behind Wisdom, who flew over him, having leaped in his extreme rage. Acting on instinct, as acting on thought would've resulted in him chickening out, he lunged himself, paws outstretched, shoving Wisdom hard against the wall. Wisdom, unprepared for this, slammed into the cave wall violently. A sickening snap sliced through the air, and Novak winced. Wisdom's end had been fitting; his neck had broken, just as the pup's had. Novak knew he had probably just done an act of justice. However, he couldn't get past what he saw; Wisdom's eyes, glassy and distant, head twisted at a previously impossible angle. Novak turned away, eyes squeezed shut against the burning tears that threatened to overcome him. He sat down, wrapping his wings around himself again, hiding from the world. He had just killed his brother, in a way. Gentle sobs wracked his body as Novak refused to look, unable to face what he had done.
