I probably have more than what I can think of right now, but the number one sound that I can't stand is the sound of cardboard box flaps being rubbed together. *shutters* Even just thinking about it bothers me. lol

If you don't have a sound you hate, then you can post about sounds that you find annoying.

I hate alarm clocks for possibly obvious reasons... also car alarms.

Nails on a chalkboard, definitely. Or anything that is similar to it. It makes me cringe.

People making mouth noises...specifically chewing with their mouth open (a primitive, uncouth and disgusting thing to do), smacking their lips, mouth breathing, etc.

Babies crying. Number one sound I hate. Second... little kids/children screaming. Car alarms... dogs repeatedly barking without end... Once or twice it's fine, but hearing it all night bothers me, for obvious reasons. That's about all I can think of for now. xD

Clicking , and Chewing with mouth open as well as The sound of someone scracting on a material of stuff like old materesses.

When knives (or any utensils really) scrape on plates. I don't know what it is but when it happens I shudder.

Certain smells bother me more, but I can think of a few sounds that I find just about as irritating. Like loud noises. I absolutely hate door slams. It always gives me vibes that I ticked someone off if the sound alone doesn't deafen and make ME angry. Also firework noises. I love fireworks, but for the colors. Not the sounds they make. Especially when I'm not watching them and can hear them from inside. When far away they sound like dull thuds like someone's on the porch. And I'm usually not paranoid, but when it comes to noises that sound like footsteps I do get a little jumpy on occasion.

How about this sound, Roif? Tee hee hee...

Forks scraping against plates, nails against chalkboard definitely, yikes. Loud noises also instinctively make me cover up my ears, a bad habit I've had for years. Fireworks, for example.

I don't hate the sound, but it can be annoying. I live near a fire department, and It's amazing how many times a day those trucks come screaming out of there. I once counted eight of them in one day. Today there was at least two, the rest was just police cars. lol

The sound of thunder,that's right overhead,it's like Draco's fear of fingernails on the chalkboard.

How can the sound of thunder be equal to that of nails on a chalkboard? Unless you're afraid of thunderstorms... But then again, that would be more of a fear and not a sound that you hate/find annoying.
