I hope someone has an answer.
I have the same figures and thought maybe the foal was a teaser for a sequel where Spirit and Rain have a foal of their own... :3
As awesome as that would be, I doubt it at this point for how many negative responses sequels have gotten.
Never the less, I know I'd support a Spirit 2! ;D

I have the same set^^. The box said it was their filly... but she didn't come with a name. I think she's what someone involved with Spirit intended her to be their daughter... but maybe things never worked out to make her official? I dunno but personally, I think the design was pretty ugly XD
