This new series produced by Dave Filoni the supervising director of the very successful series Star Wars: The Clone Wars is coming out with a new series made with the same team that made The Clone Wars such a hit. Star Wars: Rebels takes place in between Episodes III and IV of the Star Wars Franchise. In this time period the Jedi Order has been wiped out and its few remaining members are on the run as the Empire consolidates its grip on the galaxy. The main protagonist is a young teenager named Ezra Bridger who becomes a pivotal player in sparking the flame of rebellion in the Star Wars Universe. He meets a whole new cast of characters set on a ship called The Ghost. They are Kanan Jarrus, a Jedi survivor and leader of the crew of the Ghost, Zeb Orrelios, a new alien character, Hera Syndulla, the ships pilot, Sabrine Wren, a Mandalorian and artist, and finally Chopper, the ships quirky droid. This series will make its debut of October this year and it will be featured on Disney XD. What do you think of this show and do you intend to watch it?
