I often find it tiresome trying to sift through everything sent to Spirit Source when I want to find a new must-see to feature on the site, and previously asked people to send me a PM with their suggestions buuut my inbox got full quickly and it was pretty confusing and I couldn't keep track.

I'd like to suggest a link on fan content that people can click to suggest it as a must-see.
Then it's posted in a page on the site panel that the mods/site builders/whoever is supposed to see it can go in and pick the new must-see creations from those suggestions.
(They can still do it the same way as now if there are no/not enough suggestions or they don't feel any suggestions deserve to be a must-see).
Then click to clear the list so they can have fresh ones each week.
People should be able to suggest their own as well as other people's, but make it known that if people abuse the system by suggesting everything of theirs and flooding the page they can receive a warning for it.
When you've updated the must-sees there should be a button to click that logs the date they've been changed so anyone else who goes to change them can see when they were last updated so that they're not accidentally changed the very next day by a different person.
The suggestions should also be related to the movie itself, of whichever source it is, so that no unrelated characters or such are added. Perhaps not allow it to be a suggestion unless it's listed as being related to an official character?

A lack of the must-see being updated or always having the same people featured has always been something members have voiced annoyances with, with good reason, and this would give everyone a nice way to join in and contribute to their favourite sources.

Kind of related but also not really: I don't know exactly who is supposed to update the must-sees on the sites. I can change them on almost every source, for some reason, but my co-builder on SS can't even change any on SS at all.
I assume it's just mods and I'm a bit glitched?
Either way - Site Builders should be able to update the must-sees on their sources as well as the mods. The mods often have enough to deal with already and I'm pretty sure that's why the must-sees on the less active sources barely ever get updated.

I think this would be a great idea (I feel your pain, when I used to be a L&tTS fanart mod xD) though at the same time, I can't help but think it would promote people suggesting their friend's art/images or popular people's art/images.

I'm sure it would, but it'd still have to be picked by someone to be a must-see. It wouldn't be automatic.
So whoever was doing the updating would know if a certain person had been featured a lot or was already pretty popular.

AS members have often said they want to see more fairness in the must-sees, be their chance to prove it I suppose. xD
