It seems the TaleSpin (and other Disney Afternoon) DVDs have been made available again in some stores, except that they're now including a "free beach ball" with Mickey & Friends...



Is this an attempt from Disney to sell these to youngsters? (obviously the audience who watched the Disney Afternoon couldn't care less about such extra)

Could this also mean they will release the remaining episodes? (one can hope)

It looks great, but I doubt whether does it work... :/

Maybe not so much for kids, but for parents, who can buy for their kids great cartoons that they may have watched themselves, and a little bonus toy to distract them.

Honestly, I don't care how, as long as more people get to remember / discover TaleSpin, I'm all for it! (and besides, having Disney re-releasing the DVDs in stores is a very good news in itself, yes-no?)

Hai - I've noticed that you're using Karny's accent and quotes BTW, re - releasing Disney afternoon sounds good, but I must be realistic sometimes...

It would be nice if Disney decided to release the rest of the episodes on DVD and include the lost CD as a bonus since volume 3 would be shorter.

I'll have to check out if the Best Buy by my house has them the next time I go there
