Look I am tired of being picked on when I got a drawing of Emi's character in it with a realistic background ... the mods deactivated it and I had to delete them.But why do other artists gets away with it... has anyone else being picked on and I also hate it when my blank renders don't get accepted but others do*sighs*maybe we should get rid of blank renders all together and have people learn how to render?(sorry if I sound rude in any way of form, I am not trying to bash I am just upset is all and need to get this out of my chest and wander why I get treated that way....

maybe your not rendering them right? are they following ALL the rules,send one to me Via PM and i can tell you.

Most users who still ahve pictures with realistic backgrounds in them had those picture Before the rule was made. and it might me a new mod accepting them. before you started up this rannt you should have contacted the lead mod about the realistic images & talked to other blank renders about wy your blanks weren't getitng in we could have helped you...

I rant abotu things that happen to me too but i ALWAYS conntact mods first, and other users to see if they have been having this problem before i come here.

sure the mods may not answer but you have ot try contacting them first.

I don't see why other have to stop making blanks just because one persons got rejected, now that would be unfair

Now i have hunch why it might hav ebene rejected, if it was a blank render of a screenshot that has already been made into a blank, yeah i can see why they didn't pass it, we do not need blank render clones goign around the site, one blank render of the a screenshot is enough having 10 blanks of the same screenshot is just crazy

and she is totally right...are you sure that the stuff you're sending is respecting the rules? there is always a reason of why renders, images, grphics got deactivated, not because the mods are in the mood of deactivating random stuff or because they're picking on you...


another true point, come on, when a blank render of a screenshot is made, why someone else should do a blank render of that same screenie? it's ridiculous, people should start to use some fantasy.


there are many topics made to teach to the members how to render but I dubt that a 9-10 years old will be as good as a 16-17 years old at rendering, you can teach them how many times you want, but...that's why blank renders exist.

very good point, which in reality there are alot of users that age on here, i mean it's a place for cartoon fansites, not anime or anyhting else were more teen would be on there. Saske is right, there are tons of tutorials and how to's in the forums, and youtube that they could go to but, if they are younge it might not help.


Also on the fact people keep picking at you about your images. well ignor them, just because they act out doesn't mean you have to go to the forum, typing a rant topic that is very petty and more than like a subject that could have been handled in a PM to a lead mod

Well I had that drawing WAY before they fond and deactivated it and they took it off....with the realistic background it was an older pic.
To that I don't understand why it got taken away...
And my blank renders WERE done well but got rejected anyways.I am not afraid to speak my mind^^

well that just means someone ways doing what they are suposed to do and reported it...because it didn't fit the rules anymore. you can't be mad at someone for doing what the rules say and reporting something that no longer followed them. it's like "tattle tail syndrome"

jus tlike you said earler about how it was unfair that your blank render got deactivated but others are up, it would be unfair for you to keep your realistic background pic when others don't and there are no recent realistic background pictures being activated anymore.

but I know another artist who uses a reallistic background on their drawings(they old ones), and didnt' get reportedl like mine did. I have no idea why it's a bit deal now(I am not startign a fight with anyone or mods here just stating facts).Forgive me if I came out rude...

it's ok...but then insted of compalining facts or not, go to a mod and talk abotu it Or report the persons pictures NOT to get back at anyone but to have the site be in agreement with the rules. it's no longer rule adibing to have realistic backgrounds so report the ones you do see.

Complaining won't do you any good, TALK (Yes, typing to a mod) and talk it out.
You should PM the lead mod, or the mod who deactivated it.
If they won't take the time, you should speak to the lead mod.

Odd, I thought some of the newer rules weren't retroactive.

The rules do not state that they are Not Retroactive, they state they are not exhaustive

it's quite simple If it's agenst the rules it is Agenst the rules, thus it need to be reported weather it was sent in before the new rules were mad or not, it's now agenst the rules. Cobaltié thank you for your input, but this issuse was resovled adn you might have brought it back to the boiling point which wa snot helpfull.

unless the rules say that the new rules do not apply to things that were snt in before they were in effect it can stillget reported and deactivated.

Anyways, I slightly agree. I mean, I've been using blank renders lately but there good things to do while you're heading to vacation and only have paint on you're computer. ^^

Well, some new rule was reported as not retroactive in an announcement I think, unless that was something else. Mods might now about that. I forget which one, apologies for butting in a bit then
