Erin felt just as frusterated as Cassie did. She wanted to do something to the people who had done this to her, to them, to take revenge for all of it. The tears stopped, and she wiped her eyes, now filled with anger at them. "Not if we did something to Dakota," she said, imagining the sweet taste of revenge already.

"Like what?" Cassie hissed bitterly. "You saw what those wolves to Jocelyn. Do you want us to end up like that?"

"Cassie!" Ben called. No response. She fell to his knees. "Cassie," He murmured. Would he never see her again? Such a though seemed overwhelmingly awful. Loosing this person after traveling and surviving with her for six years felt unbearable. He wiped the tears from his face, smearing the liquid around the dirty stains that covered him.

Erin let out a heavy sigh. "At this point I really don't much care," Erin said, her voice every bit as bitter as Cassie's. She stared at the ground, her violet eyes angry and sad, staring at each leaf furiously as if it was Dakota, wishing she could do something, anything, no matter what it took, as long as she was able to see Dakota like Jocelyn was now.

Cassie felt anger boil up inside her as she thought of Dakota. Channeling most of the rage into her forelimb, she raised high and sliced it across a nearby tree, leaving deep claw marks that would remain there forever. "I hate Dakota," She snarled. "We trusted her, helped her, became her friend. And what dose she do? Capture us! She can turn into a puddle of disgusting toxic liquid, for all I care!"

'Not a bad idea, I'll have to keep that one in mind," Erin said, standing up. She scuffed the ground, throwing up a few leaves. "Maybe we should just bomb the orphanage, or prison, which sounds more fitting," she said. "With Dakota trapped inside," she added acidly.

Sevrin finished up fing up Cody's wounds within 2 hours, 'She doesn't know my pain, i've witnessed so much death, my family friends, and now Jocelyn, it does tear me up inside,' he said quietly to himself, 'I've done many things in my life, just because i don't cry over a death of a person, people think i'm a cold blooded monster, well you don't have to cry to show sadness,' Sevrin stood up, "Cody your wounds need time to heal, you just need to rest, I'm going to get a decent meal for you...And don't strain your throat any further,"

Katie knelt down and sat on her knees. She watched Servin leave then looked down at Jocelyn. She morphed into a snow leopard and sniffed at Jocelyn's wounds. "It was the spine that had killed her..." she mumbled to herself. The images of the battle flashed in Katie's mind but she forced them away. She stood up and ran to the forest and stopped infront of Cassie and Erin. "You ok?" she asked them, morphing back into a human. "Look, don't blame yourself. She was protecting Cody from the wolves for you guys. The wanted to die after what she did to that blonde wolf." Katie looked down at her feet. "She did horrible things too..." she said in a small voice.

"Tuh. If only!" Cassie spat. She lifted her head to face the sky, which was growing dark. Her voice dropped to a soft, menacing mumble. "Do you think we were meant to be here? Or are we really what people call us...mutated freaks?" She questioned. Each appearing star reflected in her gray-blue lynx eyes.

Ben glanced up, noticing the darkening sky. Here he was, alone, in the night. He lay uncomfortably on the forest ground, wishing Cassie was there with him. He morphed into a bear in order to protect himself from the cold night breeze. As he watched the sky, he was completely unaware that he and Cassie were staring at the same moon and stars.

"If I help," Cassie mumbled. "In case you haven't noticed, we're all...alone..." She paused, face screwed up in sadness. Somewhat suddenly, she let out an earsplitting caterwaul that echoed throughout the lonely forest. It was a cry of grief and loss, but also of anger and vengeance. It was a threat to enemies, a reassurance to friends. Everything was packed into that long, sad note that emerged from the lynx's throat.

"No, I'm not ok" Erin sighed, just hearing Katie. She surely didn't feel ok, she had just watched her friend be killed, and had been betrayed by Dakota not to long ago, and Cody and her....it was also slightly confusing. She wasn't sure about him yet, she had just been driven by...something that one time, she still wasn't sure if she should have done that or not.

Cassie turned to see who Erin was talking to, because it obviously wasn't her. "Oh! Hi Katie, I didn't see you there." She greeted awkwardly. Her voice turned more serious; a haunting whisper. "What kind of horrible things?"

Erin hadn't heard that last part, but now she remembered her saying, 'She did horrible things too...' and was now curious, a stomach-dropping, dreadful feeling kind of curious. WHat had Jocelyn done?
