I've seen the Lion King musical in London, and let me tell you, it was one of the most awesome experiences of my life. The costumes and scenery were amazing (I especially liked how they did Timon and Pumbaa's costumes. That was really creative and made the characters seem real). I would even go as far as saying the musical was as good as the movie. There is only one word for it: awesome. If you want to see a good musical, go see The Lion King! :) :) :)

I saw the Broadway musical in New York City a while back, and the thought of it still amazes me! ^^ It was beautifully done, but I don't believe I can compare it to the movie, saying which is better than the other. The Broadway musical really portrays the African culture beautifully, and yet you also still get the feel of the movie. Absolutely awesome.

Ah yes, I've seen many clips of it and how it was made on the DVD but never seen it myself, I'm going to see it on Broadway this winter on vacation, I can't compare a musical to a movie mind you, the musical would portray the culture of africa and the story whereas the movie IS the story and a person can't look like a lion as Kovu said but still THE MUSICAL IS AMAZING!! well the clips and pics look stunning and if they look good the actual musical itself would be an experience not to miss.
