Betelgeuse watched as a white and orange she wolf padded up to him. He recognized her as one of the newer recruits to the pack. She looked extremely irate. She wolves Betelgeuse thought as he gnawed on an old moose bone. The she-wolf began pacing in front of him, and Betelgeuse stared at her with cold eyes. Normally Madness would take care of the new recruits, but she'd been missing for awhile. So had Marvin. And Night-Mare? She seemed pretty ticked off at the disappearance of the pack's oracle, so it would be better to leave her alone. Betelgeuse liked his fur without singe marks.

"Can I help you with something?" He asked gruffly, startling the white and orange female.

Marvin had been stressed the past day or two: Nightmare was making him get rid of his five newborn pups. They were three days old, and already thought that Marvin was their father. He wasn't. Madness had a mate in the past, Sane, who died due to a fire accident. Marvin and Madness soon became a couple. Marvin thought they had mated, an he thought the pups were his.
